We encourage people to learn to ride for their own pleasure and avidly support their decision to enter the show ring. When that decision is made we offer our services in looking for that perfect horse to match that rider, teach both horse and rider to "understand" each other, and carry on that support through t

heir show season. Lessons are by appointment, days, evenings and Saturdays. Beginners to advanced, children to adults. We have a large heated indoor arena and an outdoor arena so lessons are held all year round. Come visit us at Country Meadow Farm and see for yourself. You may find that the horses aren't all that big and intimidating, the people are warm and friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and you'll fit right in.

Well, the summer has almost passed us by. At Country Meadow Farm we have had a great show season, having so much fun cheering each other on.

We have had two fantastic day camps. We didn't only improve our riding skills, but we also did artwork, learned a little about tack and the anatomy of the horse. We spent time looking for baby toads, which was a hit with the kids, and ended the last day with a water balloon fight. Wow! They sure got wet. Everyone got a towel for the ride home in the car.

Our youth group has been having great meetings. A lot of grooming and putting horses out for exercise. They have also done some tack cleaning. Julie has been working hard getting horses ready for the World Championships in Louisville. Not too far away! Lessons have been full. Making new friends is always fun. Sometimes a little hard, but eventually it all works.

Mike and I couldn't be happier with how our business has grown through the years and how much we seem to learn each year. We all love what we do, and love meeting new people and teaching them how to ride.
