🚨 need home 8mo old sisters! Not RTR dogs we are simply trying to work. Owner is now tired of them and can no longer care for them. It is urgent that we find them safe placement housebroken friendly up-to-date on shots. We are trying to gather as much information as possible.
Sad baby duck/goose?? Standing in the middle of the street, like a ‘sitting duck’ no pun. Its sibling had been killed by the waters edge. 🥹 There was a large plastic container there that looks like someone who bought ducklings for their kids for Easter decided to dump them by the lake, thinking they could survive.🙄It doesn’t even have developed wings.
I know nothing about them reached out to a couple of Wildlife people, but no one is taking it. If you know of anyone I desperately need to get this baby help I have Rescue dogs that are sizing it up.
Please encourage everyone you know to stop doing the Easter novelty, ducklings, and chicks because this is usually their fate and any store that sells them should not be patronized, period!
Wonderful update! I spoke to the gentleman who had the little guy follow him to work. He ran into him again, and this time he was walking with his owner! I am so thrilled to hear this and now we know where he lives. If he’s loose again, I will be able to return him home, it is near the graveyard off of Bloxham. I was also informed that I tagged the wrong animal services. I’m hoping most people know there’s only one in Lake County Florida. I am going to try to tag it again because they do not need to be excused from the neglectful operations That they are conducting. So, let me try that one more time and I apologize profusely to the animal services that I incorrectly tagged in this post previously. Lake County Florida Animal Shelter. i’m hoping this is the right tag. Keep in mind it’s lake County animal services in Lake County, Florida and if you are not getting what you need to from animal services, please post on our rescues page we want to make sure that our county’s animals are protected and cared for! Lake County sheriffs department should be watching over this. I’m not sure what’s going on there. Everyone needs to speak up. The fate of this boy was in their hands and it could’ve been a very bad outcome. Remember to speak up for those who can’t speak for themselves even if it means you might suffer repercussions.❤️🐕🫏🐎🐐🐈🐇🦜🐖🐏❤️
Gorgeous pit Lake County Animal Care & Control would not come pick it up last Friday. A neighbor called them, and LCAS explained that they had returned it to the owner earlier that week, but for whatever reason would not come out that day. They told him to “shoo it away“😟🤔

Sadly he was going into work  and had to leave the dog outside. His work is located near the advanced auto parts on Highway 50 in Clermont.
When he came out of work, of course, the dog had disappeared, and no one knows what happened to

**Not an RTR dog.**
Trying to help find a foster for this sweet girl who was hit by a car and has an injured paw. She will be treated prior to fostering. Not chipped and looks to have some old scarring, so has some signs of past abuse. The person who found her said she is very sweet and not aggressive. Will add more information and photos as we receive, but want to get the word out. All inquiries welcome.
Listen closely…… after this puppy yawns there is a sound coming from somewhere in its mouth. It shows no signs of pain eats and drinks. Normally never cries this sound is concerning and we are trying to help the dogs owner figure out what this could be if anyone out there has ever heard anything like this please share.
Update: owner found! Thanks to our friend Rita and Lake county animal services. I will eat crow a BIT but I will say this owner needs to microchip their dog our rescue would be willing to pay for it and he should be wearing a collar and have tags with a phone number😖hopefully Lake County is looking into the reasons why he isn’t So that if this happens again he has a chance. Owner, reply to this post if you’d like we would be happy to pay to have him micro chipped and neutered
Found in Clermont today, Sunset Village subs. at Citrus Tower. Seems friendly good sam who took him in can only keep him tonight we let her borrow a crate as we are unable to take him. Animal Control is picking him up tomorrow and will probably be looking for his family. He is not micro chipped OR neutered😡 I Don’t get warm and fuzzies from this and don’t have very high hopes that anyone is even bothering to look for him. Unless of course he’s being used for breeding then they might care enough😖

Oliver needs a home! He only has partial vision, he is nine years old but as you can see in the video he acts like a puppy. He can get around he just needs to learn his environment and it seems that he can see shadows. He loves to explore. He is fragile and scared so it would be best if there were no children, though he is very gentle with everyone. He would be best with no other dogs unless they were tiny and close in age
He has been with RTR for a few days now and he’s so little trouble that you forget he’s here. Occasionally he will cry if he hears me near but that is it. He is an angel!!
