My goodness what a week Spring Break was!

Over a span of 10 days I had the privilege of visiting 27 animals, plus lots of chickens! There were many new faces over spring break that added so much fun to my week.

Due to all the craziness I had help from my wonderful mom who is always willing to partake in my animal adventures with me, best helper out there!

Hello everyone! I wanted to introduce myself again for all of the new clients I’ve added recently and potential clients that may be finding this page!

I’m Abby Woolcott, a 19 year old college student with a love for animals! I am in the Parkland Pathways program, so I’m full time at Parkland and part time at University of Illinois. My junior year I’ll transfer and become full time at U of I. My major is Agriculture and Consumer Economics with a concentration in Agribusiness Markets and Management. I am Vice President of Parkland’s Ag Club; a member of Sigma Alpha, an agricultural professional sorority at U of I; and I ride for the U of I western team.

Along with my school related activities I work at Fertilizer Dealer Supply in Philo as a sales intern, and I run my business!

For fun I love to go boating in the summers and ride English at Meg’s Riding Academy!

My entire life I’ve grown up with dogs, all labs until my family’s most recent dog, a German Shorthaired Pointer. I also fell in love with horses when I started riding January of 2021.

My major may come as a surprise for some considering it’s not animal related, but it’s teaching me to become a better businesswoman and run things more smoothly, while preparing me for a future career in agriculture! Ag business made the most sense that aligned with all of my passions.

While I may seem busy busy, I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world! I love the experiences I’m blessed with and all of the people I’ve met along the way, including you guys!

I hope this helps you get to know me a little better, and I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members, whether it be household animals or livestock!

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to all of my existing clients and people who have reached out these past few months and have been so patient with me!

During scholarship season, graduation, and my vacation last week while also working at FDS and running this business, I’ve barely had time to blink! I am so grateful for all of the memories and opportunities life has brought me lately, but even more so I am grateful for the patience you all have had!

My response times have been a bit slower due to this crazy season of life, but all of that is behind me now and I am ready to provide quality care to some great animals this summer!

After some crazy busy weeks I am finally back into a normal swing of things!

I got to stay with these two sweethearts (Max and Ruby) a couple of weeks ago for a weekend. Both are so cuddly and playful, and they were a true joy to stay with! Labs are near and dear to my heart as I have owned labs my whole life.
