Nothing like a message from a fellow pet sitter congratulating me on my work anniversary to make me realize that I had forgotten about it. So wishing myself a Happy Belated 23rd Anniversary! This was by far the toughest year of them all but I’m still here and hoping to continue into the new year and for more years to come. I’ve been missing a lot of the pets so much this year. Happy to see the ones I’ve been able to visit and deeply saddened by the ones who have passed on this year. Thank you all for making my work and my life full of wags, purrs (maybe a few hisses) and a whole of fur! The way it should be!

It was so nice to get to see some of my cat friends again recently. They’re not the best of photos but I had a fun time taking them. I’m feeding them an Inaba Churu treat which my client correctly referred to as kitty crack. My cats now enjoy the treat each evening after they get their meds. Check it out if you haven’t already. There are several more cats but they were too into nap mode to come out to see me. It happens.

Always a pleasant surprise when I make an afternoon visit with the dog and Lola comes out to say hi to me as I come in the door. It’s not often she gives up her nap time to make an appearance much less hang out to visit with me after play time with the dog. I have such a soft spot for orange kitties.
