Having previous experience with a successful business which I ran from my home for 10 years (Lil' Rascals Family Daycare) and having always lived with pets (dogs, cats, rats, mice, hamsters, fish, and a lovebird) it felt like the natural and obvious choice for me to start another care business this time focusing on the care of animals. I volunteered with rescue groups and had foster dogs in my hom
e for several years. Guest dogs must be dog friendly, up-to-date with DAPP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccines, and fully crate trained. For the safety of the animals (and my home) all dogs are crated overnight and when I have to be out of the house. For new boarders: a play date must be set up for your dog(s) to meet my dogs prior to scheduling. Remember that your dog(s) may require more than one playdate to feel comfortable with me, my animals, and my home. Don't wait - schedule your free playdate today! Rates:
$60 per calendar day boarding
$50 per calendar day boarding for 2nd dog
$40 per day daycare
$30 per day daycare for 2nd dog
$45/day for twice daily trips to visit cats and other small animals in their homes. Remember - playdates are FREE and good for everyone. You do not need to be a regular client to set up a play date. I hope that you and your pets will become a part of the Lil' Rascals family.

Perfect timing that Jameson Humane and California Pet Hospital were having a dog bath 🛁 fundraiser today. And that I had a little bit of money given to me by Kayla’s adorable and sweet Grampa.
Luna needed a medicated bath this weekend but I’m not feeling up to the whole ordeal of setting up the bathroom and then hanging over the edge of the tub to do it. Her skin issues are serious enough that she’ll probably need another bath next weekend but I’m super happy to have been able to get out and get her one today.
And, of course, everyone loved Luna. She’s the best pup.

It’s the last day of Pet Appreciation Week and all week I was blessed with the company of these wonderful pups.
I’m not able to work much during chemo. I don’t have the energy for cat sitting or doggy daycare. But I can handle boarding the select few pups that I’ve personally trained to be basically an extension of my Luna and Baron.

They don’t like baths but Luna’s allergies are out of control these days. And chemo makes me very sensitive to odors and that includes stinky pups.

Hi. I’m Maria. I'm a licensed, insured, and bonded pet care provider in Napa, CA.
I've been working with animals my entire life. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, rats, hamsters, and birds. I worked as a veterinary assistant for 2 years. For 6 years I volunteered with local rescues fostering and training dogs to prepare them for adoption. I then worked with the dogs and their families post adoption. I am currently a member of and training assistant at the Napa Valley Dog Training Club.
Working with animals is my passion so it felt natural for me to start a business focusing on their care.
I board small dogs (25 lbs and under) in my home. Dogs must be social with other dogs and crate trained (dogs are crated overnight and if I have to be out of the house). You and your dog(s) must visit my home and meet me and my dogs before boarding plans can be made. Play dates are free. Remember that your dog(s) may require more than one play date to feel comfortable with me, my animals, and my home. Their comfort is extremely important to me. Don't wait - schedule your free play date today!
I provide care in client homes (twice daily visits recommended) for cats, other small animals, and dogs who are unable to be boarded and are good being left alone.
Rates:
Boarding: $50 per calendar day
$40 per calendar day for 2nd dog
Daycare: $30/day for hours between 9am-6pm (9am-5pm Wednesdays)
Care before or after hours is available at $10/hour
Pet Sitting: starting at $25/day for once daily trips to visit pets in their homes
starting at $40/day for twice daily trips to visit pets in their homes
Dog Walking: $25/day for once daily walk
$40/day for twice daily walks
Remember - playdates are FREE and good for everyone. You do not need to be a regular client to set up a play date.
