It's Labor Day! Where did the summer go?

I want to thank you all for keeping me busy this summer. I can't appreciate you enough! Thank you!

I thought I better let you know I'll be closed October 16-20. I've never been "closed" in over 14 years, so it feels wrong to say that.

I'm going on a long weekend vacation for the first time in nearly a decade. It'll be the last for more years to come. Ha!

I'm sorry for any inconvenience.

Hi all!
Today I get a new AC put in. That's not why I'm posting, although it'll be a huge relief as soon as it's done. :)

I try to make lemonade when given lemons.

Because i had to rearrange to get access to the AC, I have made room for another kennel! It will comfortably fit small to medium dogs. Maybe i don't have to say I'm full quite as often. It'll help, regardless.

I'm working on it!!

Hello Everyone!
I just wanted to put this out there. Lately I am getting about 20 robo calls a day. I block these numbers and a new one calls back 5 minutes later. Most of them actually leave some kind of message if i don't answer. It's driving me insane!!

With that... If you actually have called and left a message and don't hear from me the same day or next morning, feel free to call back because i could have accidentally deleted you. Better yet, text! Texting or email is the best way to get me. If you've never called before, please include your name in your text along with whatever else you want to.

Also... Speaking of new customers. I DO take new customers when i have room and am available. :) However... Unfortunately, the last few that have scheduled have either cancelled (which is actually appreciated and understood) or... No call, no show. :(

I have very few spaces, which is why I'm often full. I am very forgiving if you simply call and cancel. The only time i charge any kind of fee for this is if you cancel the day of a busy holiday and i can't fill the space because I've had to turn others away, and that actually depends on the reason. I will never be upset if you have to cancel for a valid reason. Never. Just please let me know! Easy Peasy!

It's Wiggles' 14th birthday!! 14 years!! Where does time go??

We've been through a lot together. Puppies growing up, losses of our fur babies, human friends and loved ones, relocation and structure...

To those that have been with us since the beginning to our newest friends, THANK YOU!!!

Without you, there's no Wiggles, and I appreciate each and every one of you!

After over a month of overflowing with furguests, today I'm taking time to say THANK YOU!!

I maintain that I have been blessed with the best customers in the world!

We've been through a ton of changes over these years from location to losing Kurt. We've been through new puppies to our best friends going to the rainbow bridge, but we've done it all together.

I've met so many people that I never would have without Wiggles, and I'm so grateful for each and every one of you.

I just saw a news story regarding the "mystery" illness for dogs. It's only a theory right now, but they stated that the owners had Covid just prior to their dogs getting sick. The vet in the story has been treating the most severe dog cases with a certain drug they have used for humans. Unfortunately, my memory is short. I don't remember the name. It's been working. This particular vet is not saying it's the answer, but he's going to continue this in the worst cases to see if it works. Dogs that have been no where by other dogs, but with sick owners at home, have been presenting.

Just thought I'd share this information, just incase....

Hello Everyone!!
Well... I've purposely been quiet on this subject, for obvious reasons, but I feel like it needs to be addressed.

I may regret this, but I hope everyone will understand....

There is a "mystery" illness going around for dogs, as you have heard I'm sure. I haven't addressed it, but it seems it's as close as Fargo.

This can be devastating.

So... I am requesting that you keep a close eye on your pups. If they have any signs of a cough, runny nose or eyes, lethargy, etc... PLEASE do not bring them here. I have to protect all of my guests.

Some things about how we operate here:

I have no kennels that are abutting, or touching. There is a sizable gap between all permanent spaces. This is to make sure nobody is nose to nose through kennels. This is helpful for contact disease spreading, but doesn't really do a lot if it happens to be airborne... There's nothing i can do about that.

Kennels, dishes, beds and blankets are kept clean and Lysoled during and between use.

I keep the number of guests down, so we don't have a bunch dogs at a time to minimize the risks, but all it takes is one.

Guests do not mingle/play with other guests while here. I let them out separately, or by family. If they are kenneled together they go out together.

In nearly 14 years, we've had one case of kennel cough. No other illnesses have ever spread and I'd love to keep it that way.

All that said, please know I'm doing everything i can to make sure we are a safe place. I have my own dogs too. I'd be beside myself if they, or your pups, got sick.

I need your help with this. If you feel your pup has been exposed or has symptoms, please cancel your stay. I will not only be gracious about this, but very appreciative.
