🐾✨ Meet the Heart Behind Azure Sky Minis ✨🐾

Hi everyone! I’m Tacie, the founder of Azure Sky Minis, where passion meets purpose — and it all started with a stuffed puppy named Oof-Oof. 😄

From the time I could crawl, dogs have been my world. I carried Oof-Oof everywhere and watched 101 Dalmatians on repeat, dreaming of the day I’d have a real dog of my own. At 4 years old, that dream came true when I got Wallie, my first pup — and the start of something so much bigger.

By 8, I joined our local Dog 4-H Club, where I discovered the amazing world of dog sports and the many career paths involving dogs. That’s where the dream of Azure Sky Minis truly came to life. Inspired by my love for Wallie, I chose to focus on Miniature American Shepherds — smart, athletic, and full of heart.

🌤️ Why “Azure Sky”? My first two dogs, Wallie and Relic, both have beautiful blue eyes — and every bright, blue-skied day on the farm feels like a new adventure with them.

Today, I proudly train and compete in Conformation, Agility, Rally, Obedience, Fast CAT, Dock Diving, and more. I’ve earned several Best Junior and class wins in Junior Handling, and in 2021, Relic and I won Most Versatile Junior at the MASCUSA Nationals!

I’ve also reached some amazing milestones in the show ring:

🏆 I finished Emmy, my foundation bitch, as a Champion
🏆 I proudly showed Stash, our foundation male, to his Grand Champion title
🏆 And I showed my first bred-by puppy all the way to her Champion title

Beyond dogs, I also ride and train horses and compete in horse shows and rodeo events — but no matter what I do, family always comes first. 💙 I’m beyond grateful to my parents, little sisters, grandparents, and every member of my extended family who cheer me on.

This is exactly why we paired Emmy and Stash again! 💙🐾 At just 7 months old, Rein is being calmly led by a 4-year-old she just met — surrounded by people, dogs, and horses — and taking it all in stride! Her sweet, steady temperament shines through, just like her siblings.These pups are the perfect blend of joyful spirit and quiet wisdom. Utah Beehive Cluster Dog show with MASCUSA specialty was this past weekend and we are proud to announce:

🧞‍♀️Genie🧞‍♀️ - Azure Sky’s As You Wish CGC TKN BCAT - WB & BOW x1 for a 4 point MAJOR, winning over a large entry of very noce dogs!! Reserve WB x1!! First in Bred-by Class x4!!!! Genie also made her last run to qualify her for her BCAT title!!! We received many compliments on her and so grateful to all who support this lovely team of Genie and Tacie!! Tacie and Genie won Best Junior Handler at Specialty also!
🧞‍♀️Side note-it’s Genie’s 2nd Birthday today!!!🎂🥳🎉🎂Our plans are to finish up her AKC CH title, get her health testing completed, and finalize our pick for a sire for her! (We welcome any ideas on sires!)

🦴Stash🦴 - GCH CH Treasures Dig N Fur Bones CGC BCAT - Had some fun in the ring with his kids, Linlie and Tacie! Received an Award of Merit at the Specialty show!! And worked well with Linlie in the junior ring earning her a Reserve Best Junior in Specialty and a third place in the all breed junior competition for her class!

👑Rein🐴 - Azure Sky’s Queen of Country - Recieved first place x2 in the bred by puppy class! Had some fun showing and made her first fast cat run practices! She is a happy bouncy girl and we just love her so much!

🐾 Azure Sky Minis will be having p u p p i e s this fall and we are seeking out a special partner home for 1 or 2 of the puppies as well as accepting 1 more per deposit. Message us if you are interested! 🐾

Azure Sky’s As You Wish CGC TKN

Continues to add to her resume of WB and Reserve WB placements! Genie was awarded Reserve WB x1, WB x2, and Best Opposite S*x x2 at the show in Caldwell, Idaho!

Genie is such a sweetheart who gives the best cuddles! She is the ultimate tease of the pack and loves psyching Tacie out by jumping into Trevor’s arms when Tacie calls her over, then gives the biggest grins 😂 😂

Stash is the papa to our most recent litter, the sire to our keeper puppy, Rein!

Stash is extremely HAPPY, ultra HANDSOME, and full of LOVE!
