Weather this hot can become dangerous and even deadly for your pup, very quickly! When temps are in the mid/upper 80’s & 90’s outings should be kept to short potty breaks in the grass and shade.

Hello everyone, it’s that time of year again! Premier Pet Care has availability for new clients over the summer!☀️🥳

Let me introduce myself - Hi, my name is Taylor Ruscansky and I own Premier Pet Care! I have over 10 years professional experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. My personal pack consists of 2 huskies🐕🐕, 2 cats 🐈🐈‍⬛and a variety of lizards and exotics!🐍🦎🐠

Premier Pet Care is fully bonded and insured and offers a variety of services for a wide range of animals. The most popular service being, you guessed it, daily dog walks! 🐕‍🦺🦮In addition to daily walks, we also offer vacation check-ins and trail hikes. We’ve recently added in-your-home pet sitting to our list of services as well!

We currently have openings for mid-day and late afternoon walks & check-ins! 🗓️ Walks and check-ins can be as short as 15min or as long as an hour to meet your pets individual needs. If you’re interested in learning more please send me a message! 💬 All new clients receive a complimentary Meet & Greet prior to services beginning!

We have just recently opened a waitlist for private “Puppy Basics” training sessions as well. 🎓 Sessions will begin in September and will be available in packages of 4, 6 or 8. Training will take place in the clients home at a time that fits into your busy schedule! As an added bonus, everyone on the waitlist will automatically receive 10% off their first package! 🥳

Hey y’all! Bingo here to remind you of some cold weather safety tips🥶

- The ice melt that is used on the roads is not safe for your pets feet and does have the ability to cause burns and soreness to the paws. We recommend wiping your pups feet after every walk to remove any salt residue. Paw Balm is also great to use to remedy those dry paws in the winter!

- Though some breeds are built for this weather, others are not. When going for longer walks we recommend getting a coat for your short haired buddies. Booties are great as well, especially for pups with sensitive feet!

- If your pup is holding their feet up during a walk, it is time to go back home. They’re telling you that they are uncomfortable and if you ignore these signs it could lead to more serious damage to their paws. As an alternative, you could shovel out a spot in the yard for them to potty so they can stay on the grass as opposed to the ice!

- Last but certainly not least - remember to always check-in on your dogs body language when out in the cold (or…out at all for that matter!). Are they up-beat and excited to play in the snow? Are they reluctant to walk or shivering? Always be mindful of what your pup is trying to tell you through body language, it’s the only way they can communicate with you!

Oh and don’t forget to snuggle when you come back inside! I don’t have any scientific explanation for this, it’s just the best way to warm up after a chilly walk!
