Cross Ridge Farms

The new growing season has been in full swing here at Cross Ridge. Farmer Dave started things off under grow lights back In February. Spinach, lettuce, kale, peas, as well as turnip and mustard greens are being harvested now. The first batch of potato plants are over knee high and will be ready in a couple short weeks. As always, the chickens are hard at work laying beautiful, fresh eggs every day. Coming soon: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers (bell and hot),squash, zucchini, garlic, herbs, beans, and more!

Big excitement on the farm tonight! Our first four legged additions to the farm; two Suffolk cross lambs! 🐑

Our little farm is growing once again! Last night we welcomed six Narraganset turkeys and two new guineas! They are so cute! I'll get better pictures of them today. I didn't want to mess with them too much last night after their trip home. The pic of the adult turkey is just to show you what they'll look like full grown. Call me crazy, but I think he's beautiful!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. We've been dealing with some personal and family health issues. Never fear! We've been working hard, just not posting about it.Check out all that's been going on down on the farm...and let me know if you need any eggs or garden goodies!
