💜 🐴 Seeking New Pastures 🐎 💜
Cherokee’s Indian Dancer, we call her Zapata. Absolutely Beautiful, well trained, experienced, super gaited, big powerful, amazing MFT mare. She is a black & white tobiano, registered Missouri Foxtrotter. 7 years old. 16 hands tall & built like a tank. She is UTD on vaccines & dewormed. Recently trimmed feet. Maiden mare. Size 3/2 shoes.
Z is tall, strong, & tough. She has been ridden elk/deer hunting, packed, ponied, tied out during the night while camping, crosses water, logs, good to load in trailer, good with farrier, easiest horse to catch, ridden double. She is a gas pedal horse, she goes whichever speed you tell her and it’s always smooth. She does a slow quarter horse walk, flat foot walk, foxtrot, canter. Has potential to even rack, we’ve just never taught her how. She is extremely friendly and loves attention.
No bad habits, no vices, just a great horse! When warmed up or used often she's about as perfect as they come. When not used for a while or fresh, she can be a little jumpy and full of energy, but easy to lunge and warm up. We don’t ride her very often and she just needs miles and a confident rider. She is a phenomenal animal and will make someone a great riding partner. Her pedigree is impeccable and her size is difficult to find in an MFT. She’s the full package!
