Meet Saint- 2y Cane Corso and Cartier is a 3y old Doberman. Both dogs went through training previously with another company and wanted to make sure that the pups were ready to get a new human sibling! Dogs transition their obedience by their structure and environment. Our trainer Dave has worked with Saint and Cartier to make sure they were 100% on Basic Obedience AND then transitioned into off leash training. Both dogs have really adapted well to their training. We included Baby Prep training for them to ensure their safety, the babies safety and the parents safety.
As always when a baby is around a pup make sure safety is in view! Making sure the baby doesn't yank ears, hit, lay on, sit on, or anything else that may come up. Baby prep is important to not only the dog but the parents too so that the dog(s) can learn boundaries and understand how to perform.
We are so proud of Saint and Cartier. They have come so far in such a short period of time.

Remember Syla. I just shared her graduation picture earlier this week. Here is a video of our training supervisor, Tommy, teaching Syla's handler how to "tuck". Tucking is a great command to teach Service Dogs so that they are not in the middle of the walkway. Tucking ensures the safety of your Service dogs while in command.
