Hi Hampton Roads friends, I'm helping one of my petsitting clients find a new home. I've taken care of them many times in the last year, and I am saddened that Riley needs a new fur-ever home.

Riley is smart and independent. She used to be the only baby until her owners married, adopted another dog, and have 2 beautiful babies. Unfortunately, the major life changes have proved challenging, and this recent decision is very difficult for my clients.

My experiences as Riley's sitter have been fantastic. She loves her one-on-one time, and I know she misses it a lot. I'm already heartbroken that I will potentially be saying goodbye to her soon. This picture was taken by me a little over a week ago from my last sitting with her.

The family asks that if you are serious in re-homing Riley, she needs a stress-free environment where she can get the love and attention she absolutely needs and deserves. No other pets or young children. If you'd like more information, contact me so I can help arrange a meet-and-greet with Riley and their family and find a good match.

Hello Waggy Friends, and Happy Howl-i-days! It's been a while since I've last updated and I wanted to share some important announcements:

First, thank you everyone for the love and support of my dogwalking and petsitting business! I'm happy to serve my local community during this busy time of the year.

As a quick reminder, I am currently serving in the city of Virginia Beach, VA ONLY. Please be mindful of this as you re"fur" my service to friends and family.

As of this post, my dogwalking slots are FULL. No new clients can be taken on at this time. Thanks for keeping me walking, and your pups moving!

Due to high demand, this holiday season will be extremely limited. This said, I will only take holiday requests for my existing VIP customers at a first come, first served basis; no new customer requests can be taken at this time.

Starting December 1st for all customers: My business helps me and my family as a source of income, and I take my job with utmost care. Therefore, a cancellation policy for overnight sittings will be taking place once the booking is confirmed. While it is understandable that things do happen, it leaves me out of a paycheck as I take in the time to plan and prepare my schedule around yours.

In addition, VIP customers will have priority to requests for overnight sittings within 24-48 hours of needed date(s).

All invoices for all services are due within 24 hours of delivery. A late fee will be applied for every day that it is not fulfilled.

Starting January 1, 2024, there will be an increased rate in my petsitting prices only. I sadly have to move along with the times of demands, and my time in experience over the years deserves this reflection so that I can continue giving your pets the best in quality care. This price change will affect holiday and puppy rates as well.

Finally, no sittings will take place on the final week of 2023 - this is my time to prepare my paperwork and documents for the upcoming tax season, and also a chance to prepare my home, business, and goals for the new year!

Thank you for having me as your dog's best friend, and, in turn enriching my life with a beautiful community who supports me and my family! I can't wait to carry out the rest of 2023 with lots of walks and cuddles!

Quincy... Always is and will be A 757 Dog's Best Friend.

We said goodbye to the goodest boy who is the inspiration of my dogwalking and petsitting business. He was taken in by my partner's family, and they were the best 13 years of his life.

It's never easy to day goodbye to a pet, and even though he wasn't mine, I treated him as if he were my own. It's only been a couple of hours, and his impact and presence still linger. I'll miss him terribly.

Love on your pets, 1000%
Toss that ball.
Get every snuggle in.
Give them all those treats and belly rubs.
Get one more in for them, and for us.

I'm honestly really sad that I have to make this kind of post, but this is in response to a pretty disheartening conversation that I had with a potential customer on a service app earlier today. After confirming for our meet and greet, the owner tells me that they didn't realize that the total amount for the services they asked for were way out of their budget and they would have to consult their partner.

I'm here to tell you all as well that I take pride in not only the services that I offer but also what I said for my prices. While I understand that price may be a huge factor for having someone take care of your home and pets, I am more than that. I not only feed your beloved pets and take them on potty breaks... I provide a safe and clean environment where they can sleep soundly and thrive. I protect youe home from threats. I treat your home with cleanliness, dignity, and respect, as if I were in my own home.

Until recently, I've never had anyone question my prices for my services. It usually is never an issue.

Needless to say, it is most likely that I will not work with this particular family for also giving me the red flag that they were going to look for other alternatives. But to those who truly do value me as a person and business, thank you so much. You all are the true meeting behind the name of my business and what I do for your family!

Hello, and happy 2023! First dog walks yesterday and today with my buddy Remi, and I am super excited to start my year in a happy and healthy way! 2022 has brought me a lot of blessings, including a solid client base for regular walks during the week. I am very thankful to everyone who has supported my dog walking business, and I look forward to doing more this year! Right now my focus is to continue to nurture with the current client base I have, while also focusing more toward pet sitting in the Virginia Beach area. Just a friendly reminder to keep your pups cool when bringing them outside! If the sidewalk/road is hot on your hands, it certainly is for them too! Keep them in the shade and light-toned sidewalks, and always have water handy!
Quincy didn't seem too keen being outside for too long, but he needed to have his potty break :)

It is with sadness I announce the passing of one of oldest walking buddies, Boo. As of 8pm EST today, he crossed over Rainbow Bridge and is now at peace.
I met Boo in February this year. At 14 years old, he lived a wonderful life, and I am thankful and blessed that I got to walk with him in the short amount of time we had together. He was a handsome collie mix and one of the sweetest dogs - who else do I know would stop every few steps to smell the flowers? None other than this boy.
I love and miss you already, Boo-bear. Thank you for blessing my career with your gentleness. Until we meet again, may there be flowers wherever you go.

Hello, this is Jennifer, YOUR Dog's Best Friend in the 757!

First, I want to thank you all for supporting my small business in 2021! Just like in 2020, I wasn't sure what direction this pandemic was going to take me. Thankfully to my pleasant surprise, opportunities to help my local community again began to open up when vaccinations became available. Fast forward from September to December, you all have kept me on my toes for caring for your pets while you're away! I am very grateful that I can contribute for you all again!

I will be approaching my 3rd year as a professional caretaker and dogwalker this spring, and boy has time flown! I have learned so much in my journey and it's because of your love, trust, and support that I am where I am today. Over time, I realize that not only have I become in high demand but I have also grown in my quality of care. I do take this with great pride.

This being said, starting on Sunday, January 2, 2022, prices for all services will be increasing. I try to be as fair as possible so that all parties may benefit with the quality of care your pet deserves and the ease of mind that your home will be in great care.

Again, thank you for your love and support as we continue to grow into bigger and better opportunities this coming year! Don't forget to re"fur" me to friends and family members who you feel would benefit by having me be their best friend for their dog too!
