Stella is one of our longest residents, and she’s really struggling in the shelter environment. Yesterday, one of our staff members took her out for a much-needed adventure, and Stella was such a good girl! 💕
Here’s how her day went:
Stella rode beautifully in the car, occasionally sneaking in kisses or trying to sit on a lap, but she responded well to gentle corrections. Her journey took her to Feeders, Starbucks, Home Depot, Tractor Supply, and Petsmart—a busy day for any pup!
She met two dogs during her outing and handled it cautiously, with just a little growling as they walked away (which stopped immediately when corrected). She met lots of people and was absolutely perfect with every single one.
Stella’s adventure shows just how much potential she has, but the shelter is no place for her to thrive. She needs a loving home where she can continue to grow and enjoy new experiences.
