"What are your walk in hours?"

"How long is the wait?"

These are daily question for us at Animal Hospital of Marion. We are a General Private Practice, Emergency Room and an Operating Room/Surgical Center all under one roof. We strive to offer top quality care and focus 100% on each individual patient and case. Our GP (General Practice) is by appointment only. Exam rooms are pre-reserved and are with a doctor and doctor's assistant. We encourage scheduling routine appointments in advance, as these appointments do fill up rather quickly. Walking in for routine exams can sometimes lead to lengthy wait times and do not have the availability of an exam room. Animal Hospital is also an ER (Emergency Room) and offers urgent care to see patients daily that are in a critical state. These patients are triaged by an available doctor and veterinary technician in the treatment area of the hospital. Due to the sudden nature of most emergencies, exam rooms are typically unavailable. When an emergency arrives routine appointments may be slightly delayed until the emergency is stabilized. This is where predicting a wait time can be challenging. Each and every day brings different varieties of emergencies which can change the order of go very quickly. Lastly, we are an OR (Operating Room) and Surgical Center. Our surgical team pre-schedules all varieties of surgeries, Monday through Friday. We have a dedicated surgeon on premises each day. Sometimes the unpredictable emergency patient can find himself/herself in an urgent surgical procedure which can change the scheduled order for routine procedures. We will always notify you if your pets surgery is delayed due to an emergency. We do our best to minimize wait times and appreciate the patience of our community. We will continue to take care of all of your fur children with the top quality care that we were founded on.
