Its Official!!

We are preparing to relocate and as of December 1st, 2020 we will reopen operations in San Jose, CA!! Thank you to all the support since we launched, and this move will allow us to be able to serve you much better. Much larger space and variety of fish we can offer. Cant wait to see everyone when we reopen.

Hi Everyone,

Important Announcement for the future of our business. Effective December 1st, Grumpy Tropical Fish will be split into three separate companies with different focuses.

Grumpy Tropical will move forward with specialization in Male Bettas.

Our two new companies,

Titan Aquatics will focus on American Cichlids and other predatory fish depending on availability from suppliers on a seasonal basis.

DJK Pets (Parent Company) will focus on community and non aggressive fish, including female bettas and sororities, as well as all aquarium and pet supplies.

New FB pages and websites are in development for all three companies will launch in January 2020.

We also have a goal of opening our retail store front at some point in second quarter of 2020, with a soft target date of June 1st, 2020.

In the mean time, due to winter weather, including freezing temps here locally, all live fish shipping has been suspended for the time being. Fish will still be available for local pickups and delivery within the Southern California area.
