Whispering Rise Farm & Animal Sanctuary We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide sanctuary to surrendered and We rescued and placed our first pigs in October 2011.

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization for charitable purposes. Whispering Rise is located on 6 acres in northern Baltimore County, Maryland.

Pictured is Chris Logue and his buddy Katrina Cooper who both volunteer at the sanctuary. Chris has had the opportunity to volunteer many years through Penn-Mar Human services. A great time was had by all🙂

As we reflect on 2024, we are filled with so many emotions. We are deeply saddened by our losses, joyed by our rescued additions, excited by our adoptions, and beyond grateful for our volunteer and charitable support. We look into the coming year with anticipation, hope, and the comfort in knowing we have happy herds and a caring, loving community. ❤️🐷❤️
