We had 2 families adopt bunnies at Bugz Bunny Rescue, Bugs Rabbit Rescue Columbia SC today (the day before Easter). Truly phenomenal PARENTS who made it clear the bunny is to be a FAMILY pet and the ADULTS will be in charge of care and husbandry. Most importantly, the *parents* want the bunnies as pets, and will provide love and care as the kids grow and develop additional interests. A HUGE THANK YOU to those parents for teaching bunny love as well as appreciating age appropriate chores. ❤️

How many toys from their Easter basket are your kids still playing with?

Chances are, none. Don't get them a chore. Get them a stuffed rabbit. Get them chocolate. Get them anything but a rabbit.

I am so grateful to Amy Romleski, owner of Bugz Bunny Rescue, Rabbit Rescue Columbia SC, for encouraging me to start my bunny bonding business (in just what happened to be the Chinese Year of the Rabbit). It's been a busy holiday season so I've been a little quiet here but I am super excited to reach more bunnies in the coming new year.
