These are 5 week courses and the fees for the class is $150.

Beginner’s Rally Obedience
Class starts October 24, 2023, from 6-7 pm.
This is a 10 week course and the fee for the class is $150. You must have completed the Beginner’s Obedience class before taking this class.

Advanced Obedience Level 1
Class starts October 26, 2023, from 6-7 pm.
This is a 10 week course and the fee for the class is $150. You must have completed the Beginner’s Obedience class before taking this class and have a qualifying trial score.

The year 1973 is very important to me. This was when my one and only child, Petrina, was born, It was also the year K-9 Dog obedience was started by my husband, Pete, and I. During this, thousand of dogs have passed through my hands. Each on a unique learning experience. I wish to thank everyone who allowed us to work with their beloved companions. I also want to thank all those who boarded in our kennel. I always felt like I was babysitting with family members. K-9 will close January 10th of 2024. This will allow us to board through the holidays. After a three month vacation, I will begin a new training program. Instead of people coming to my school to train, I will now go to you. This will be on site training in either your home or somewhere you wish to work. I have wanted to use this method but having a business made it impossible. I will put up a new website with information on this new program. Through K-9, I have made many life-long friends. Also the classes have created many life long friends between students. The goal of K-9 was to create good mannered dogs who could fulfill their role as companions to be welcomed wherever they were presented.

Due to Tropical Storm Nicholas, all classes set to begin this Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are postponed until next week. Monday classes will begin on September 20, Tuesday on September 21 and Wednesday on September 22. Saturday classes will go on as scheduled as of right now.

Due to lack of power, classes for Wednesday, September 2 and Thursday, September 3 are cancelled. Any private lessons will be rescheduled. K-9 is open for boarding if you are a regular. You can drop off your dog between 9am and 4 pm.
