They handcraft small-batch, earth-friendly body products that smell like a spa day in heaven and feel soooo good—my skin is obsessed with their body bars.

Bonus? They’ve got an equally amazing line for pets. Their Detangle Me, Doggo is a miracle for long-haired pups, and I even snagged the cutest little soaps for a client with ye**ty paws.

Some dogs wag their tails, Bentley? He’s out here having full-blown conversations with his ears.

This little Italian Greyhound moves his ears in ways I didn’t even know were possible—one up, one down, one sideways like he’s picking up frequencies from another planet. He’s got more ear expressions than I have tabs open on the laptop, and that’s saying something.

Mini Iggies like Bentley are already known for being extra expressive, but this guy takes it to another level.
His face? Stoic.
His body? Elegant.
His ears? Absolute drama queens.

Dogs don’t speak English, but they’re always communicating—some more creatively than others.
Honestly, Bentley might be better at nonverbal communication than many people I know. Every visit with him is like decoding hieroglyphics…

Dog ownership isn’t just food, treats, walks & cuddles. It’s also about structure, safety, and sanity.
Yours and theirs.

If your dog ignores commands or flat-out disregards you on the regular, hate to say it… You’re probably not the pack leader. And dogs? They’re pack animals. If no one’s leading, they’ll take the job — no questions asked.

It’s easy to keep putting off training — the economy sucks, money’s tight, and those flashy dog gadgets aren’t exactly free, but the real question is:

In an emergency, can you get your dog to stop, come, or stay without anyone getting hurt?

Because good behavior isn’t a luxury, it’s a standard.
Imagine how great your rugs will look when accidents are a thing of the past, not to mention breaking up with excessive barking.
That’s incentive right there.

One of our dogs broke out of the yard recently and treated it like recess. Zero recall. No commands. Just a dog living his best feral life down a busy avenue.We returned him safely, but it was unnecessary chaos.

This cat, I tell ya…

We can go months without seeing each other, but the moment she hears “little girl,” she bolts down the stairs like no time has passed. Her name is Rain.

There’s just something about an independent, regal cat who greets you like a loyal dog that absolutely rocks my world.

The bond is real—and it’s always on her terms, which makes it that much sweeter. 💫

Zoey was visiting from Key West and needed several walks, one of which was at noon. I usually discourage midday walks in blistering heat and sun, but they didn’t have a yard.

I carried a clean wash rag with a Yeti cup full of cold water in a cross-over bag. This way, I could cool down her paws with the rag, and she could drink too. The location was mostly hot asphalt, so I came prepared.

Before our walk, I gently massaged her paws with Pawtection
, then followed up with their Paw Soother once we got back. Both products are incredible—made with all-natural butters, oils, and waxes that absorb beautifully without leaving waxy paw prints all over wood floors.

I’m at the mechanic and have everything I need to be productive while waiting, except Manheim has other ideas.

He’s the shy loner type who keeps to himself so this is new behavior for him. He’s kneading (send armor!), purring and napping, all at once.

Guess productivity can wait—when a cat like Manheim chooses you, you stay put.

🐶✨ Mirror, mirror on the wall… who’s the funniest pup of them all? ✨🐶

Ever caught your dog barking at the mirror, or giving serious side-eye to their own reflection? You’re not alone — and your pup’s not losing it (well, not more than usual ).

Most dogs don’t recognize themselves in mirrors. Instead, they see a strange dog who has:
- No smell
- Suspiciously good timing (copycat, much?)
- Zero manners

To your pup, it’s like a magic portal to a silent, scentless twin — and that’s super suspicious in dog world.

Dogs rely way more on their noses than their eyes to understand the world. So, a reflection that looks like a dog but doesn’t smell like a dog? Nah, hard pass. 🚫

Eventually, most pups stop reacting once they realize the “mirror dog” is boring and not stealing their treats.
