We made the decision to move Dove's baby into Nutella's pen with her babies. Dove was not being as attentive as a mom this go around and it's far better for her single baby's physical and social development to be with other puppies. Nutella has been trying to steal him from the beginning and everyone seems much happier.
The large CHONKY puppy is Dove's.

After an uneventful c section on Dove, our other female, Nutella went into labor 7 hours later!! Going to be a long night!

After a lot of debating, we decided to do a c section on Dovey rather than wait it out. This little dude was the only baby. Singleton babies have no competition for resources and they tend to have bigger birth weights often needing a c section. His momma is only 10 pounds so it was safest for everyone ❤️

Nutella (aka Tells Bells) loves to talk. Her mom and grandmom did this too!! She is due with her first litter in 2 weeks! Going to be a noisy bunch!

Are my dogs good with kids? Sure are! Breeding is first and foremost about health and temperament! Quinn with Boomer and Pearl (and her cat) with Dovey.
Dovey usually just lays dramatically around when she is pregnant, so fingers crossed! We will be doing her sonogram in the next few weeks!

My last baby flew the nest this past week - literally! He flew from Maryland to his new family in Las Vegas with the help of my wonderful flight nanny.
He has made a little girl very happy 🥰
