Fun Fact: I didn't dream of starting a p**per scooper business 😅

It happened because of one little comment from my husband... "but you're so good at it!"

as he tried to negotiate with me as to which one of us was going to p**p scoop the yard.

💡The lightbulb went off.

I really don't mind scooping the p**p, but yes, it is another task on that time-sucking list of "To-Dos".

A few weeks ago, I heard a customer's back door open as I'm scooping my way through their yard...

I look up to see him and his son walking out to start a game of soccer during an absolutely gorgeous sunny day.

I thought to myself... "This is why we offer this service".

He wasn't spending time scouring the yard for landmines, but instead using that time to create precious and priceless memories with his son.

To say it made my heart smile is an understatement!

We surprised one of our customers in a way I never thought...😮

I was scooping their yard, and she thanked me for notifying them of a concern with their dogs p**p last week.

We've all been there; staring at the lawn, the grass needs mowed and you're deciding between actually going out and scooping the dog p**p vs. just running it over with the mower.

To be quite honest - I don't always know the exact reasons behind why my customers hire me. Sure we can make the broad assumption that in general people don't like picking up dog 💩.

But I had a new customer note something on their onboarding form that nearly brought me to tears:

I'll be the first to laugh at a good p**p joke, and naturally "that's a crappy job!" comes up quite often.

It sure is, but in reality, it's an AWESOME job! I get to help families take back their time and spend it more quality ways than worrying about picking up after their dogs.
