This will be this pages last post. Thank you everyone for your support and I appreciate everyone of you. With the last of the horses leaving today don’t forget to pick up your stuff by the end of the month. I am pulling all boarding and business insurance as of the first of May and it won’t be covered anymore. I am going to go through my barn Sunday and get it cleaned up for pony party season. Anything left will be donated to a local 4H club. If you want any pictures off this page grab them because I am deleting this page on Sunday.

It’s our last friendly reminder 😢 board is due tomorrow for the last time. Those that gave me 30 days that are leaving earlier only pay the prorated portion that we discussed. The rest of you owe for the entire month $200 regardless if you horse leaves earlier or not. See section E in your boarding contract. Thank you for being great boarders

Clarification…. The 30 days is only while under contract that I set to expire April 30th. No monies or care is expected past that date. I have have everyone set to leave that day as their notice date. Sorry about the confusion it was an emotional day yesterday. Any horse here on May 1st board will be $400/month. I have my liability set to not renew that day. Thank you

For those that were unable to come to the meeting today….

I have decided to close my boarding April 30th. As of May 1st all horses and personal property must be gone. I appreciate the great barn family we have become. With the price increase of everything I just can’t afford to stay open. I don’t have the time to care for all the horses with my kids being in sports and our house construction. I want to thank each of you for choosing me to care for your horses. I love each of them. I love all my boarders and I hope we all can still ride together.

Now the business mumbo jumbo.

By contract you still must give me 30 days notice. You are still responsible to pay for those 30 days. You will be responsible for trailering your own horse to its new place. Most boarding places will trailer for you. Horses must be gone by May 1st. Molly Bartman has a barn that she knows of that may have room. I will give each of you a stellar reference if you need. Friendly reminder board is due Tuesday February 1st. $10/day late fee for every day after, no exceptions. Farrier is coming Saturday February 19th at 10 am. New trim price is $35 and if I am holding is $10/horse. I can’t take PayPal for farrier services so this gives you time to drop a check for Molly. Let me know if you have any questions.
