It’s Hug A Breeding Manager Day!! ❤️🫂

It’s not an official day but we want to take a moment and give a shout out to our own Tracy Reitter Howell and all the breeding managers and breeding professionals that are up at zero dark thirty checking cameras, running out to barn in their PJs even in subfreezing temperatures to check, all the sleepless nights, and long, highly caffeinated days to get to the days of a joyous little bundle of legs and wiggly tails being delivered.

All of us in the horse industry wouldn’t have our companions of a lifetime without you and we appreciate all of your hard work and dedication you pour into your job.

HHH Stallion, BVH Major Hancock (“Major”), and Jeffery Howell were able to get out and spend sometime under saddle together this week! He sure is a looker, with a great mind as well.

He will have 4 babies coming this year. Stay tuned this foaling season!

Our 2024 LEO HANCOCK MAN (“Turk”) x RS TARVERS BLUE OPAL (“Opal”) arrived last night. It’s a little red roan filly, owned by Shaylee & Brody Barber out of Arkansas! Congratulations on your stunning little filly!!

🎆Today was an exciting day, we broke ground on The Nursery, our new foaling barn! 🎇

It will be 30’x80’ with four 11’x20’ foaling stalls which will have attached paddocks for turn out.

RS TARVERS BLUE OPAL
“Opal”

Opal is one of our HHH Mares which we purchased for our program from our friends the Ericksons in Canada.

Since coming to the USA, Opal has been an asset to our breeding and riding program. Opal is a versatile and phenomenal all around ranch horse, having won in sortings, ranch rodeos, and ranch roping competitions. She helps us to doctor calves, teach riders, as well as take folks out for a Sunday trail rides.

Opal has had two foals by our HHH Stallion, LEO HANCOCK MAN (Turk). Her 2021 foal, HHH Bonita Hancock (Boni), has already won money and a buckle is the sorting arena. Opal’s 2023 foal, HHH Leos Blue Man (Havoc), is headed to his new home this week to be able to compete along side his older sibling. Opal’s 2024 foal by Turk already been reserved by our good friends in Arkansas where they will be used as an all round ranch horse.
