We do everything we can to ensure your dog is happy and healthy when with us and you can feel confident knowing your dog will be well-cared for while they play all day with our loving and qualified team members.
• Our team is extensively trained in dog behavior, pet first aid and CPR.
• Each pet is required to pass a socialization interview to be allowed to play with the pack, but we know sometimes troublesome behavior happens and we are happy to accommodate and train to be more social in a controlled and quieter environment.
• All pets must be current on vaccinations.
• Our walks and hikes are recorded and shared with GPS so you can see every step your fur kids took that day!

Good news everyone!
We are excited to announce Atlantis Portuguese Water Dog Puppies will be here in time for Christmas! From a professional trainer home, our AKC fur-babies are the sweetest, fluffiest and cuddliest pups in existence. Litters from Atlantis are incredibly rare and we are very excited to be able to share these perfect babies from our family to yours! This litter will be a rainbow litter - the father (Vasco De Gama) is a brown and white and the mother is a GORGEOUS solid black (both wavy - perfect conformation and temperament). Puppies will be either black, black/white, brown, brown/white, and all will be soft and wavy! White/Brown or White/Black is a very rare coloration for a Portuguese Water Dog and desirable in the Florida sunshine.

Due around 12/15 (and home by Valentines Day), these Portuguese Water Dog babies go to their forever family ready to make an excellent companion, show, or protection pet.
They are non-shedding / hypoallergenic. The mother is smaller for her breed (40lbs) and the father is 55 lbs, so these puppies will be slightly smaller than average (males 50lbs, females around 40). Porties are known to want to be right by your side doing whatever it is you’re doing (they don’t call them velcro dogs for nothing!)
They start daily training here at home with Atlantis and go to their forever home with up to date vaccines, veterinary medical records, clear genetic tests, microchipped, with a lifetime health guarantee, housebroken, started on crate training and include free lifetime training consultations from Atlantis! Anyone who adopts a puppy from us is part of our family and we are always a phone call away (for life!). With excellent references, vet references, and happy families whose lives have been forever made better with the love of one of our Portuguese Water dogs - our babies are simply the best.
We are located in Hobe Sound, FL – between Stuart, FL and Jupiter, FL (about 2 hours north of Miami right on the east coast). We’ve received numerous requests from our students and have decided to resume our class session starting the beginning of May, with a few changes.

For the safety of our customers, students, and trainers we request everyone adhere to social distancing guidelines by maintaining at least 6 feet separation from one another. Additionally, to limit the number of attendees during class we ask that for now only the person training/handling the dog be inside the school. We will be avoiding direct contact with the pets for the moment, including petting, instead trainers will use their own dogs for demonstration purposes. Be sure to bring plenty of your own treats, we recommend True Chews Premium Grillers with Real Steak Dog Treats. The door into the school will remain open before and during class to eliminate touch points.

Class will restart May, with the new schedule posted on our website, unless there is a change in directive by the state or county.

Before and after coming to class please practice good hygiene prevention habits. If you have a cough, shortness of breath, fever, or been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms in the past 14 days please stay home.

Lastly, heed the advice of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cdc.gov/coronavirus

Let's share this like crazy! Dogs need people to advocate for them so they feel safe. Even a friendly dog can feel unsure of a dog rushing up to them while on leash. Sadly, some people do not understand "my dog is friendly" does not make it all better.

We recommend having a phrase prepared along with a stop sign hand signal to help others respect your dog's space.

Random dog owner: "My dog is friendly." As their giant dog or tiny dog runs your way.

You: Puts up hand "Call your dog! My dog needs space."

It's no fun hearing the other dog owner shame you after you express concern. Fear not! You are not alone in your efforts to keep your dog safe. We will continue to educate our community so we have more knowledge responsible dog owners.
