Have you registered yet?? There's still time ... largest parrot event in the United States since 1999!! If you can't stay for the entire event, day shopping is available on Saturday and Sunday. Busy Beaks will be in Grapevine on Saturday, December 21, 2024. If you have any special requests, please let us know so we can get it packed into the trailer!

December 7th - 9-2pm - Busy Beaks will be helping to support their New Waverly, Texas community on December 7th BUTTTTTTTTTT (notice that big BUT?), we will NOT be bringing toys for parrots. I know, weird, right?!? We are limited by space available so we'll make it work!

This is a small, craft-type holiday event and we believe in community so we'll just take the Busy Beaks Boutiques (NOT the trailer full of toys). You know, gift ideas like Chala Handbags http://busybeaks.com/Chala_Home.htm Chala key rings and fobs, scarves, jibbitz for crocs, hair clips, jewelry, those kinds of things.

GOOD NEWS! If you have a parrot and you want us to bring you toys, please go to our website: www.busybeaks.com and order what you'd like to pick up at the show. Orders must be received by December 5th! We will discount your pick-up order by 10% and have it all packaged and ready to go when you get there (with an extra gift included)! This is one of our absolutely favorite BEIT venues. Easy access, clean facility, lots of free parking, great family getaway, and best of all ... you get to meet many parrot-loving friends! There will be lots of vendors with birds, food, cages, playstands, tons of toys ... plus Busy Beaks will be bringing many new Chala items which are terrific gift ideas for others and yourself! One of the things that makes me crazy, is when people tell me that keeping their birds occupied is expensive. You have two options. One is buy toys and the other is to take the time to make them. It's either time or money ... your choice!!

Sydney, the face of Busy Beaks, loves to make "windows" out of his boxes. There's nothing better in Sydney's world than to get new boxes. We put together small boxes, filled with goodies like a walnut and shredded paper, a toy with shredded coconut fiber, in other words, boxes layered with more boxes, all holding something fun. All of those will go into one large box and the fun begins.

He's a very big bird (Greater Sulfur Crested Cockatoo that adopted us in Australia in 1995), we call him the slum lord because he loves to shred EVERYTHING, unscrews quick links (he's also a mechanic) to drag his toys into his box. Nothing is safe outside the box, he must drag everything inside ... but first, he has to make room! LOL
