We have been introduced to "Chala Bags" and it's LOVE!! After having ours for many months, we have decided to add more "Busy Beaks Boutique" items to our inventory which means we're adding CHALA!! What a mess Hurricane Beryl has left on his journey through Texas. THE GOOD NEWS IS all 175 birds at MEBS survived Hurricane Beryl. Of course, there is lots of mess and clean up to be done but at least the birds are fine!!

Busy Beaks will extend their SHARE THE LOVE toy fundraiser for anyone who wants to donate to MEBS ... they will match that donation through 7/31/2024! All the perches, toys and bungees in flights will be removed and replaced to avoid any storm contaminates.

*Day after Hurricane Beryl update!* The most important thing is all the humans and animals are fine. We've had some property damage, a huge mess, still without power, Verizon cell towers are down so phone service is sketchy (texts work best). We have lots to be grateful for! Many aren't as fortunate.

Let the cleanup begin! Everyone stay safe. Lots of broken limbs, downed trees and debris everywhere. BE CAREFUL of your surroundings!!

One month a year, Busy Beaks pays it forward via their annual "SHARE THE LOVE" toy matching campaign. We will match your donation when you order any products to be drop shipped to a verified U.S. 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue or sanctuary. So if you order $50, we will ship them $100 in products! Busy Beaks will enclose a packing slip with your name and mailing address and you will receive a tax-deductible receipt for your donation from the recipient.

Rescues and/or sanctuaries typically have a "wish list." If you're unsure what to give them, ASK THEM what they need or give them a Busy Beaks Buck$ gift certificate and let them choose their own.

If you've not been following our progress for ARIZONA GIVES DAY, the early giving has been steady and generous! Every donation received during early giving through APRIL 2 will count towards the Arizona Gives Day total.
