It is that time of year again - Between the Saturday before Memorial Day and Labor Day, dogs are not allowed on St. Simons Island beaches from 9:00AM to 6PM daily. This applies to areas between 16th Street (Gould's Inlet/East Beach South) and Mallery St. (SSI Pier). This is for the safety of the animals as well as other beachgoers.

Please protect your Canine Buddy's Paws as our temperatures rise in the Golden Isles. Asphalt and Hot Sand on the Beach are extremely destructive to Dog's Paws.
We do carry Paw Protection applicants that can help if applied in advance, but please be cautious walking your dogs on Asphalt and Beach Sand. A good rule is if you are unable to walk barefoot on a surface; then your dog should not.
