Australian Terriers of the Americas
We are a group of individuals promoting the Australian Terrier in America. This is an endangered breed and could possibly become extinct if more people are not educated on the wonderful Aussie! Australian Terriers are some of the smallest working Terriers and make ideal companion dogs with a work ethic. They are a loving, loyal and athletic little dog. Great temperaments and they do so love their humans.
This is a smart and funny, playful smaller dog, they come in 2 colors red and blue tan. They are not a large dog ranging 10-11 inches at the shoulders, which make them ideal Emotional Support Animals. They love to hunt and will kill mice and all sorts of vermin including snakes. The coat along the back is harsh but the furnishings and the remarkable trademark topknot is soft and silky. A quick brush, to keep the furnishings clean and tidy is needed at least weekly. They will require some grooming to be comfortable. Stripping on show dogs too keep the coat intact must be performed, but for most companion animals you could trim them to keep them neat.
The Australian Terrier has bright little eyes and sharply erect ears. The loyalty is unbound and they just are a joy to own and LOVE! They truly are a wonder! If you would like more information please private message us.
