Not only am I a certified, professional dog trainer, I also volunteer with the Humane Society of the United States Animal Rescue team as well as foster dogs and kittens from various rescues in Forsyth County. Gunner is such an amazing Bernese Mountain dog. He’s a rescue that has only been in his home for a week. Many times leash reactivity is based on not understanding the proper way to greet other dogs. Through our leash reactivity program, Domino learned how to focus around other dogs. Now the owner enjoys much quieter and cooperative walks.

*SOUND ON* Sit is one of the most important cues for your dog to learn. When teaching the skill, make sure you deliver the treat to him in the correct position so that he doesn’t think that sitting and standing or jumping, then sitting is correct.
