Throwback Thursday, let's visit with BACS alum Rosie!

"Quick Rosie update as well in case anyone from when she was there is around: She's doing great and we love her beyond words! She has a dog sister now too that she spends a bunch of time wrestling and playing tug with. Both dogs go on trips with us and Rosie's been everywhere from the beach to the snow. We treat both dogs fully as our kids and Rosie is currently wrapped up cozy in a blanket on our couch as I'm writing this."

What a sweet check in, thank you so much to her humans for adopting Rosie! She looks so happy and loved, it's great to see ❤

Here is an update on our beloved BACS Alum Ferdinand!

Things are going really well with Ferdinand! He and Baxter now nap next to each other, share dog beds and toys, and Ferd is respectful of Baxter being the "king of the castle." It’s cute because Baxter barks when Ferd runs inside, so Ferd now walks to get his toy during indoor fetch.

We’ve been cozying up on the couch with all the rain, and Ferdinand is loving it. He's been opening up more, making sweet little "awoos" while he naps. We’ve also started car training, and so far, he’s comfortable walking up to the car and touching the handle—a small win! He’s not crazy about the obedience training yet, but he’ll get there.

Ferd has also made lots of new friends around the neighborhood and loves belly rubs. He’s been friendly with the dogs in the building, and I’m relieved there’s no reactive behavior.

He’s such a sweetheart, and I’m loving having him here. ♥️

I'm Xavier, a striking Husky mix with a beautiful coat and a vibrant personality. I’m friendly and outgoing and love making new human friends. I thrive in active households where I can get plenty of attention and exercise. When we go for walks, I’m a dream on a leash—focused, well-behaved, and easy to handle. I’m also housetrained and enjoy spending time indoors.

A fenced yard is ideal for me to burn off my energy, and I love mental challenges, so puzzle toys or interactive games are a big hit. I prefer to be the only dog in the home and need a cat-free environment, as I tend to pester them. If you're looking for a loyal, adventurous companion who keeps you active and engaged, I might be the perfect fit!
