Even our short coated pups like Willow need some TLC! 🌟 Willows service includes a bath and de-shedding treatment. My de-shedding treatment includes a pre bath blow out, extensive bathing process with specially formulated undercoat control shampoo, high velocity blow dry, and extensive brushing process before adding the finishing touches!

Many people think that short-coated dogs don’t need as much grooming as long-haired breeds, but that's a common misconception. Regular grooming for short-coated dogs like Willow is crucial for shedding control, skin and coat health, removal of dirt and debris, and early detection of potential skin abnormalities or other health concerns.

🐾 Exciting News from H.W. Canine Design! 🐾

I am thrilled to announce that H.W. Canine Design has a new home! This has been a huge project, and I couldn’t have done it without the help of family and friends. I couldn’t be more excited for this new adventure! I have moved into a brand-new salon space at 312 N Green St. in Crawfordsville and will be officially opening Monday August 12th! This isn’t just a move; it’s an upgrade! My new location is perfectly designed to pamper your pups, offering a full range of grooming services for dogs of all sizes—big and small! 🎉

My mission is to provide a space that is welcoming for dogs and owners alike. I absolutely adore the dogs I have the opportunity to care for, and hope to meet many more in this space. I promise to care for your pets as my own and always continue to grow and educate myself as a groomer.

As I transition into my new salon, I will be operating as a traditional pet grooming business. This means all owners will drop-off and pick-up their pets from the shop. My hours will be Monday-Saturday 8:30-5 however I will not be in shop every Monday or Saturday as these will be my rotating days off. I will operate by appointment only, this includes nail trimming. For new clients I ask that you only book online if you have up to date information on your pet and understand what services you are wanting. Hi everyone!

As some of you may know this week I was in the hospital due to experiencing some health issues. While there I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. At this time I am still working through finding a sense of normalcy in all of this and getting into a routine that will allow me to stay healthy.

As I navigate through this I will be contacting those of you who I may need to cancel appointments for now and reschedule at a later date. I ask that you please be patient with me as I try to work you back into my schedule. Thank you for your understanding and I look forward to seeing your fur babies as soon as I can!
