Every day 10,000 humans are born and every day 70,000 kittens and puppies are born also. With these figures, there will never be enough homes for animals. On these startling facts, H.A.R.T. was born.\

We are an organization formed by a small group of people to help save the lives of the stray and abandoned animals. We are a 501c3 a not for profit. We offer an adoption service, many dogs and cats

have been re-homed, with very happy owners. Part of the adoption fee is for DHL-PPV Annual shot, Kennel Cough and Rabies vaccinations, spaying or neutering and a heartworm test for dogs. And for cats they get their FVR-CP and rabies vaccine, leukemia/ Fiv/heartworm vaccine and leukemia testing. This is the best value for people looking to adopt cats or dogs. Because the is no such thing as a "free" puppy or kitten. We also started the Trap-Neuter-Release for cats in the county and have helped to reduce the number of cats being euthanized at Hardee Animal Control via this program.We offer a low cost spay and neuter program as well for all owned animals. We are accepting donations for the animals we have rescued or have been found, in the form of old towels and blankets, bleach, pine sol, dishes, leashes, toys for dogs and cats also Purina dog food and cat food, this is what we feed our animals as it is better on their digestion, and to change food can make animals sick. But on saying that any food is greatly accepted for our foster parents to help them. Donations can be dropped by Hardee Animal Clinic ask for Leigh. Foster parenting can be very rewarding. To know you helped save a life is the best feeling in the world. We actively try to get our foster dogs and cats adopted through http://www.petfinder.com or http://www.adoptapet.com. this has had great success, with adoptions as far away as Merritt Island, Clearwater and Port Charlotte. We take them on our adoption drives to local events or Sebring. If you would be interested in being a foster parent to a dog or cat please call 863-781-2045 and ask for Leigh. Fostering is supported by our team. It is much better to help re-home an animal if you know their habits and little quirks through foster parenting and letting them know happiness maybe for the first time in their lives. Welcome Henry as we named him, he also came from Hardee Animal Services today. Looks to have been either hit by a car or attacked by a dog. He is a senior was loaded in fleas crawling all over his poor injured body. He is on antibiotics and will be further checked tomorrow for his injuries. If you are his owner please contact us direct 863-781-2045. He is feeling much better after having a warm

We delivered 5 kittens to Petsmart Lake Wales Fl after a long day at work for the adoption center. Than traveled to Winter Haven Fl to pick up this little
one who was found yesterday morning in the road in a puddle of water. I kept it with me last night to feed and comfort til our foster could take over today. We also rescued 7 cats from Hardee Animal Services. It’s been a very busy couple of days. We can always use help with Purina Cat Chow/Kitten Chow and friskies wet food. We appreciate any and all help can be shipped to HART 1937 Highway 17 n wauchula Fl 33873 if a member of Sam’s Club they have the friskies and Putina Cat chow for the best price.
