PUP POPSCILE RECIPE AS PROMISED:
Beat the heat with this fun and easy pupsicle recipe.
BLK9 PUPSICLE: Peanut Butter & Banana Pupsicles
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (make sure it’s xylitol-free)
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt (unsweetened, no artificial sweeteners)
- 1/4 cup water or low-sodium chicken broth
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
- Peel the banana and mash it in a bowl until smooth.
- Add the peanut butter, yogurt, and water or chicken broth to the mashed banana.
2. Mix the Ingredients:
- Stir everything together until the mixture is smooth and well combined. You can use a blender for a smoother consistency.
3. Fill the Molds:
- Pour the mixture into silicone molds or an ice cube tray. You can also use small paper cups.
- For added fun, you can place a dog treat or small chew stick in the center of each mold as a "popsicle stick.
4. Freeze:
- Place the molds in the freezer and let them freeze for at least 4 hours or until solid.
5. Serve:
- Once frozen, pop the pupsicles out of the molds and let your dog enjoy a cool, tasty treat!
Storage:
- Keep the pupsicles in an airtight container in the freezer, and they’ll be good for up to 2 weeks.
These pupsicles are perfect for hot days or just as a special treat!
