This is Roscoe, who the fund was named after. Owner Paul Hendrickson was so grateful for Pet Emergency helping Roscoe at his end of life, that he gave us a donation to use for something to help other animals in Roscoe’s name. It was a good sized donation in 1999. Paul Hendrickson, Dr. Dr. Seeba, and myself ( Laura Kelly), brainstormed and came up with the idea of creating a fund to help animals in need. Here we are, 25 years later, still helping companion animals from rats to dogs. We have you to thank for the donations that have kept us helping pets. 💕💕💕💕💕💕

The Roscoe Fund has been quite busy assisting families the last few weeks and we are thankful to be able to help so many, but unfortunately our funds are getting low and we need your help!!!
At the Roscoe Fund, we believe that every pet deserves access to emergency veterinary care, regardless of their owner's financial situation. Unfortunately, many families facing financial hardship are forced to make heart-wrenching decisions when their beloved pets fall ill or are injured.
That's where the Roscoe Fund steps in. As a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping those in need, we assist with financial aid to cover emergency veterinary expenses for pets whose owners cannot afford the necessary care. Whether it's a life-saving surgery, critical treatment, or essential medications, we try to help offset funds to ensure that pets receive the care they desperately need to recover and thrive.
Your support can make a world of difference. By donating to the Roscoe Fund, you're not just helping pets—you're supporting families in their time of need, providing them with peace of mind and the chance to keep their furry companions by their side.
Your donation in dollars makes sense, no matter the size, it makes a significant impact. Your generosity can help save lives and keep families together.

This is Matilda, a beloved 13 year old pit bull who’s owner reached out to us when she noticed a large mass develop on Matilda’s jaw and was unable to cover the expenses of veterinary care and treatment.
Matilda has been a constant companion to her owner and her family during blessed times as well as a tremendous emotional support to her owner in times of sickness and struggle.
She was there for many wonderful life moments and watched over her owner when she was ill and when her husband suffered from major medical conditions. Her family cares deeply for her and it showed as she reflected on her lifetime of loyalty and how they did not want to see her in pain.
After her visit with Wasilla Veterinary Clinic, her family learned that the prognosis was not great. We are saddened by the news; cancer diagnosis’s are heartbreaking. We wish Matilda’s family comfort in these sorrowful times.
The Roscoe Fund is thankful we were able to assist her owner in finding answers so that Matilda doesn’t have to suffer.
We covered the costs of the diagnosis and pain medication to afford her family a few more quality moments and when the time comes, we will cover the expense of her final appointment so that her family can humanely say goodbye.

Slug is currently at Pet Emergency Treatment fighting for his life. Owners adopted from Animal Control a few weeks ago and was very lethargic. Their regular vet sent him to Emergency because he was so anemic he needs a blood transfusion. The Roscoe Fund assisted with our maximum, but she is still in need of more money. Carecredit is maxed out. Please donate directly if you can help. We are in desperate need of donations as well. We are trying to rebuild funds this month. Thank you donors!💕💕

Yesterday, we got a call from a paramedic that was concerned about a homeless man who had a dog in his car ( he was living in his car) that had blood coming out of his ear. We received a few other calls from other concerned citizens. We were able to track him down and get Niko to a veterinarian and get treatment. Hopefully the man and his pooch are feeling much better today! Please donate! We are taking this month off to reorganize and rebuild our funds. We did have to help Niko yesterday though!😊. Puppy picture for cuteness, not Niko.
