With the issues surrounding scammers either trying to cheat people wanting dogs and the breeders I am changing my procedure for clients looking for their perfect puppy.
First step: contact me about an upcoming litter. If you decide you want a puppy from that litter.
Second step: deposit will be put down. $1000 get you first pick of the puppies. $75 will get you the opportunity to choose your puppy second. And last $50 will get you the opportunity to choose your puppy third.
These deposits will not be refundable they are transferable. If one letter just doesn't do it and you want to keep waiting you're welcome it will roll over to the next litter.
I'm also changed the breeds that I breed. I have one toy poodle that are due to be born August 9th. This will my very last pure poodle litter. I will be continuing shih Tzus and Shihos and I have added cavaliers and cavapoos as well.

I'm reposting this because occasionally we get crazy comments regarding the prices of our puppies.
We do not charge a fraction of what we've put into our puppies and what i invested when I chose to get quality over price. We could charge more, but we don't.
There is a reason our dogs are “So Expensive”, these are not dogs that just sit in our yard, eat ol'roy and when the females in heat she magically becomes pregnant while we are off living our life. 63 days later, we don't come home to a pile of cash born in the dirt and cold outside. Where we wait 10 weeks doing the bare minimum and send them off into the world to cash in.
We, along with other reputable breeders, spend tens of thousands each year to care for our dogs, quality food, care, and vet bills and supplies. When we have puppies, we are with them 24/7. They don't leave our sight for the first 4 weeks, and we continue to be extra vigilant about their care and health the entire 10 plus weeks they are with us.
We monitor weights and feeding (every 2-3 hours for 28 days) we bottle feed, we tube feed, sometimes having to go the extra mile with antibiotics, fluids, and other medications on a puppy who is not doing the best (and no most vets have no idea how to properly care for or help us with neonates!)
We routinely put our needs aside to ensure the safety of the puppies, sometimes to the point of complete exhaustion and sickness for ourselves.
We cancel our lives: vacations, events, weddings, anniversaries, and birthdays. Everything is on hold when we have puppies.
We are there 24/7 for our adopters for life. We are family once you choose our puppies.
We endure losses and hardships , happiness, and success behind the scenes of these perfect babies. Breeding is no joke. It's a lifestyle. A passion. A dream to better the breed.
When we don't have puppies, we still have daily upkeep and care of our dogs, family, and home. We also utilize this time for training and further educating ourselves so we can be the best we possibly can be.
It's not an easy job, mentally or physically, but we love what we do and we do it to ensure healthy, stable and well adjusted puppies are going to their new families who have waited and dreamed about them.

Ok, I have to share this adorable story. The last litter had three girls and three boys.
A past client contacted me about a female shih tzu. So she went to an amazing home and family. Two girls stayed with me and one male is still available.
Then two of the brother went to the same home. A couple days after they were in their new homes I was Happy to get some pictures. Both the boys and their sister had one toy that was the same. The toy was a stuffed Lambchop.
Today, I received a package that I didn't order. In the package there was a stuffed Lambchop! I found a card that said that their sisters should have a lambchop too.

Hot tip, if you get into a committed relationship with someone that has chronic health issues please please please understand that that person may not be able to do anything for themselves for weeks to months at a time and a large burden is going to fall on you. Take the time to make sure you're able to handle it before you commit.

Years in pain, tired and the many changes in me for no reason or apparent reason ... Hiding everything from someone else, pretending to be doing better than you are; until it no longer works. No matter how strong you want to be.
Then the moment comes when they tell you what you have ... You have mixed feelings: you finally know what you have, but how do you deal with it?
Lack of encouragement, wanting to lie down, taking medication frequently; having a whole pharmacy on top of the nightstand.
Then, the daily responses, "Why did you get so fat?" “I have this great diet, if you just go out and exercised.
That once beautiful hair of yours now awful and it falls out.
What happened to you??....
This is all true and that's why I'm sharing it!
Silent and invisible diseases do exist ...
When you have an invisible disease it is difficult to argue from your perspective with ignorant people.
Life takes a lot of turns !!!
Tired of being told:

Yes! I tried and still try everything !!!
Doctors say this disease is forever. That I will not heal. However, I am not giving up, but I want to make others realize:
* A nap will not cure me but it will help me ...
* I am not lazy, I take medication and it sometimes makes me sleepy.
* I am not angry but sometimes cranky with pain.
* I struggle daily with pain, mobility problems, fatigue, the criticism of my environment.
Most frustratingly, people look at me and say, "It can't be that bad; you look good "
Despite the fact that my body is experiencing excruciating pain everywhere, of course I look good, I always try to look good, it is an "invisible" disease.
This disease affects me physically, mentally and emotionally. Because rare autoimmune diseases cannot be seen, but we feel them.
And they are there ... Silent attack but extra painful.

Update: the dna and health testing is back on the mother. She is an Australian Shepherd. So the puppies are aussiedoodles not borderdoodles. On the health end, she is clear of any genetic disorders. Borderdoodle puppies! They ar so cute! 3 weeks old and playing already 🥰
