Hey all, I wanted to tell you a story of how KohkoBlu started.
And what brought me to creating the shop.

When my husband and I made the decision to leave Army life behind many years ago, we weren't sure where we would go or what life would throw at us. We settled down in Ohio, not knowing what our purpose was.

It wasn't long til we decided that living in society wasn't good for my husband, who had severe PTSD, and injuries from serving.

So, we bought a piece of land in Arizona, lived off the grid, and learned who we were. During our time there, we found our purpose. Help the animals.

After all, if you are religious, you know God put us here to care for the land and animals on it.

So, for 7 years, we did everything we could to help those animals that came our way. From wild cattle, wild and tamed horses, Burro's, farm animals such as goats, chickens and ducks. Then, we got into rescuing dogs and cats.

That is where our story started. Rescuing lost, forgotten and abandoned animals.

In those 7 years, we rescued 26 dogs, 42 cats, 4 horses, 6 goats, 5 rabbits, and many other animals. We learned, we grew, and we healed.

Now, recently I lost my husband to environmental hemachromatosis. From burn pits.

I am continuing what we started all those years ago. So KohkoBlu was created.
A part of the profits from my sales will go to helping the animals that I rescue, and towards helping a local rescue as well.

So, thank you for reading my story, and hopefully, somewhere, somehow, you will help those animals that are lost, forgotten, or neglected.
