Senior Exercises

Senior pets greatly benefit from routine exercise just as they did when they were younger and full of energy. Many senior pets need targeted training in addition to daily walking. To keep up their youthful spirit, practicing short, intentional exercises can keep their muscles strong and joints nimble. The exercises in this video are all low impact focusing on strengthening the muscles that support their hips, elbows, and shoulders. The movements help to lubricate their joints, sharpen their proprioception skills, and safely challenge their fitness. Senior pets need extra attention to maintain their strength and balance as they age naturally, so you can help prevent future discomfort by exercising today with your young, adult, or senior pet.
