STAR is a non-profit 501(c) charity established to promote the use of suitably trained animals.

STAR is a 501c3 nonprofit organization consisting entirely of volunteers. Most of us are therapy dog handlers in the Charleston, South Carolina area. In addition to visiting facilities with registered therapy dogs, we educate the public about therapy dog work.
