R.I.P. Ladybug💔All of us at S.T.A.R. mourn the loss of a great therapy dog. She impacted so many life’s from all of children she loved reading books to her to her fans of all ages whose days were brighter because of her.
She will be missed.

Sad news. Monnie Fishel said goodbye to her beloved Goose yesterday.
Goose was a great therapy dog who loved children with all his big heart. He will be missed❤️

We are so proud of these STAR teams who got the call on a Sunday evening hoping for a therapy dog visit, on Monday morning they were there. The crisis team knew the children would find comfort in dealing with their loss of a classmate.

Thank you Rhonda for organizing “Bark in the Park”. It’s great to see members and get to hang out and give the dogs a fun day off. They did sneak in a little therapy work because everyone wants to pet therapy dogs!
On a personal note, thank you to all the teams for being so great with my new dog in training, Ash.

Today was our annual visit to Westminster Presbyterian Preschool in Charleston, SC.
We look forward to this visit every year. The kids spend the week learning about pets and how to be good pet owners then on Friday the therapy dogs visit.
The sweetest children you could ever meet, amazing staff and our dogs loved every minute.
Thank you Ladybug,Wade, Hank, Buddy and Gryffin 🐾
All the dogs say thank you for the treats ❤️

Sad news. S.T.A.R. member Bob Hardie said goodbye to his incredible therapy dog Bodie on Friday November 1st. Bob and Brodie were very loved visitors at MUSC.
Bodie will be missed.
