Doberman Rescue Group, Inc. is an organization dedicated to the rescue of unwanted, abandoned and abused purebred Doberman Pinschers. Fosters needed!!!!
Founded in 1989, Doberman Rescue Group, Inc. is an Oklahoma-based organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of unwanted, abandoned and abused Doberman Pinschers in Oklahoma and Arkansas. Our dogs come from a variety of sources, including but not limited to animal shelters/pounds, owners, backyard breeders and puppy mills. After our dogs are evaluated and rehabilitated in fo
ster care, we do everything in our power to help ensure they're placed in safe, loving homes for the remainder of their lives. DRG does not have a shelter building or facility where it's possible to personally visit the dogs. All of our Dobermans are fostered in loving volunteer homes for as long as it takes for them to find their forever families. Only after you've submitted an application and been approved will we arrange meet-and-greets. For more information on applying to adopt a Doberman, please visit the "Available for Adoption" photo album. DRG is solely volunteer based, we welcome any type of donation, be it volunteer time, supplies, goods and wares for auctions/charity events, or monetary contributions. Our ability to continue to rescue this majestic breed depends solely upon private donations and volunteer effort, so whichever way you may wish to help is tremendously appreciated! Monetary donation options are below.

Welcome Victor!!! Victor has had a rough life filled with abuse. The sad thing is, he’s so loving and gentle. We got through the first 3 days and he now knows he’s safe and ALL he wants to do is please! This handsome boy is cropped/docked and absolutely beautiful. He’s about 1-2 years old and located in Tulsa. His vetting will be completed this week and he will be ready for his new home. I feel like Victor would do ok with slow introduction to another dog. Probable best with a female. He’s a talker and if you talk to him, he starts mumbling back. It’s adorable. He seems gentle with kids. He will require a gentle and loving human. And again.. POTTY TRAINED!!!
Please fill out application!!!
http://www.dobermanrescuegroup.org/adopt.htm?
UPDATE!!!!! She is good with other dogs, not sure about cats. She will be fully vetted on Wednesday and up for adoption. She is YOUNG.. maybe a year to 2 TOPS! She is gentle, super sweet and loves to please. She knows basic obedience. She is a gem of a dog. Also POTTY TRAINED!!! Who want to adopt Chloe??? Please fill out an app!

URGENT PLEASE HELP!! FOSTER NEEDED IMMEDIATELY!! This Dog showed up at a ladies house a few nights ago in Broken Arrow. She is a female, unknown age (looks to be younger adult). First stop will be to vet to be spayed and then she will need someplace to rest and recover. This is LITERALLY all we know at this very moment! If you are interested, please fill out an application.
Thank you
Jessie
Oh my goodness!!! I sure thought my heart was flowing over with Dobie love but this boy… OH MY HEART!!! Gosh he is sweet!!!! He is so cuddly and lovable. As you can see, in my house we have no furniture restrictions! lol He was so nervous and scared until I laid down and called him up. It took him about 10 min to completely get all four feet off the ground but when he figured out I would cuddle and hold him.. he was ALL IN!!! Friends.. YOU NEED THIS BABY IN YOUR LIFE!!! He may have a face deformity but his personality is one of the best we’ve seen. He’s silly, entertaining to say the least and such a good boy. Seems to be both potty and kennel trained. I feel he would be good with kids of all ages (he’s a little bouncy at first) it will just take some work with the younger ones. I would say probably no cats only because he still a baby himself and he may chase them. He’s in Tulsa ok and I’m still learning about him but he will be such a good boy for a family especially! He’s very playful.. and this is some thing we don’t see very often.. he loves toys!!! he doesn’t seem to have much in the way of special needs, except he can’t eat out of a slow feeder because his bottom jaw could get stuck. he seems to eat normal kibble as well as other foods very well. If you are interested in making Duke part of your home, please fill
Out an app. He will be adoption only as he is still a puppy and needs stability!! He also knows sit and shake and we are working on other obedience as well! THAT FACE THOUGH.. UGH!!! 🥰🥰🥰🐾🐾🐾

Hey friends, I would like to take a minute to remind everyone that all of us involved in DRG are doing it on a VOLUNTEER basis. We work applications as they come in but not EVERY dog can fit into your situation. Please do not send emails telling us things like .."you say your "swimming" in dogs but you still haven't processed my application like I told you too". We process ALL applications and make initial contact at least (if you are not contacted, we did not get your app)… if approved, and we have a match we will be contacting you a second time to see about placing!
thank you
Jessie
Update: hey everyone, we are trying to get as much information as we possibly can on these. I just wanted to let everybody know the reason why this information is the only information that was posted because it was literally the only information that we had at the time. At this time, we still do not know much more than what is literally we’re trying to find some answers and figure out exactly where the dogs are exactly how much time they have and then all of the details that everybody’s wanting. make sure everybody understands that if it’s not posted here we don’t know and we’re just trying to get some feelers out as early as possible
Time is running short for the 2 seniors.
Please can anyone step up to help them?
Marcia

FOSTER NEEDED!!!! Everyone meet Duke!!! He’s 6 -7 months old! He needs love and some kids to play with for sure!! He’s a ball of fun and energy! Duke’s head a face are severely deformed and a very bad under bite. So far seems to be a genetic issue because he is SUPER SMART!! He knows sit and shake so far. He seems to love racing around the yard and playing with the toys! Please find room in your heart and home for Duke! (Tulsa)

NE Oklahoma….
Who would like to help 2 seniors? They are 9 & 10 years old. They have been together since puppyhood. They were with the same family. But times they change. They are now no longer family members. They will be headed to the shelter on Sunday. Without you they will die in a cold dark shelter. They love each other
and just want love and respect. They are no trouble and need a soft comfy place to live out the rest of their time.
We are praying someone will step up to save them!
Please!
Marcia

Ok here is the deal!
You must fill out an application. We sadly can’t take 15-20 calls a day. Application is first! Then we will answer your questions! The fee on the website is wrong. But how I wish it was so! We could all afford food, gas, etc. We are not posting the fee. All we do is field questions. There is no reason to post parts of the website for me to read. I wrote it I know what it says. If you wish to be a contrarian feel free to message me. Jess and I will happily call you to discuss it!
We love you all but we are swimming in Dobermans! Please help us by fostering, adopting or donating for their care.
Stay cool!
Marcia

Wow!
FORGIVE ME, MOMMY 😢🐾…
I was there where you left me for two whole days. Sleeping right on the side of the road. I was terrified of the noise from the cars but I did not move.
Last night one of those cars stopped and she got out. She invited me to lunch but I said no. She invited me to come sleep at her house and I also said no. I tried to explain to her that I was waiting for you but she wouldn’t listen. She pulled out a leash and said I couldn’t stay there any longer. I bit her several times and ended up peeing on myself as I growled and cried! She didn’t understand that she was separating me from you! She took me against my will and we drove off! I was so sad because I knew you were going to be worried. We ended up at her house.
I kept screaming hoping you would hear me but you never came. I vomited because of my nerves, feeling so sick. I kept telling her I had to go back because you were going to think I abandoned you when you saw I wasn’t there! I, who love you with all my heart and soul have not stopped crying since we separated a few days ago. I want you to know, I would never do that to you.
I don’t know where you are now or why you stopped the car and left me there. Surely you had something very important to do. Can you come find me now, mommy?
Today I ate because my tummy was hurting. I also slept on a very soft bed. And by accident I also wiggled my tail a bit. I’m so sorry, please forgive me. She’s just being really nice to me. She said I could stay forever. She’s calling me Savannah, but I already have a name. When you pick me up you can tell it to her. You’ll see how surprised she’ll be when you explain to her that this was a big mistake.
Because mommy, you’re coming back for me, right 😢?

I’m posting some pictures of Dolly. She is ready for her permanent home. She is so precious! We went on a car ride and she loves to go! I was so impressed with her! Please fill out an application if you can foster for us!
Have a great Sunday!

3week update on our “greyhound” Liam..
Sadly yesterday Liam was diagnosed with heartworm on top of everything else. We have started treatment and as you know it can get quite expensive! I will say this… the sweet boy that came in at barely 60lbs, checked in for his neuter yesterday at 82lbs!!! 👏🏽👏🏽. Thank you to all that have supported Liam. We’ve had 3 dogs in a week test hw positive, we need all the support we can get!! 😩🙏🏻❤️

I also apologize for the political posts.
Jessica and I are locking the ability
to make posts to just us until after the election season!
I wanted to apologize for the political posts. I’m not sure how they were approved as neither Marcia or myself authorized political posting. That should be done on personal pages. If anyone has access to posting on this page, please do not post personal feelings on politics.
Jessie
Hey friends!!! We just wanted to thank everyone for the donations. Please keep them coming!! Look at the difference your donations are making.. just one week later I can already see a difference in Liam. His personality is also starting to show! He’s a happy and silly boy! He loves human kindness no matter his past and he so funny when he gets the zoomies bc he’s so long legged and awkward!! He’s such a good boy! No potty accidents and so well behaved.. minus the counter surfing which is honestly probably bc he was starved.. anything that smells good, should go in his tummy apparently but we are working on this!! lol

Greyhound update (this still cracks me up)
Hey friends, I just wanted to update you on Liam really quick. We are approaching a week of having Liam in our program. It hasn’t taken him very long to figure out what groceries look like around here. Every day he is eating pumpkin puree and yogurt mixed with some fresh pet, kibble and some baby food! Right now he’s about $30 a day to feed. We have lots of supplements/oils prebiotics etc to help build his gut health so he can eat his heart out and put on the pounds!! He’s on medication for upper respiratory, medication for eye infection etc. please keep donations coming.. they are definitely needed for vet care/food/ supplements etc.
thank you all for not only donating but praying for this sweet sweet boy! We couldn’t do it without your help!!❤️🐾🙏🏻

What a gut wrenching morning! I had to take some time before I could post this till this afternoon! My daughter and I went to pick up Liam (formerly Patrick) and our hearts hurt so bad!! He has an upper respiratory infection, eye infection, fly strike scars all over his entire body, a terribly botched up ear crop and terrible scarring inside of them.. at this point I’m not sure he can hear very well as the vet felt his ear infections have been so severe and untreated that he has areas of what look like cauliflower ear in humans. He absolutely oozes love though! I don’t know how he can still be so loving and trusting of humans after all he has to have gone through. He is a big, tall framed boy but only weighs 60lbs and should honestly be closer to 90-95 based on his frame. He is so emaciated and tired!! He’s enjoying the air conditioning and laying around but he needs some vet care for sure this week!! All he wants is to be held and loved on yet he’s not use to human kindness which is evident in his body language as he shakes in fear! Please help us get him through this so we can get him to a family where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
Liam is about 4-5 years old and is a BLUE Dobie even though in the picture, he looks red!
He found extreme comfort when my daughter got down on her knees in front of him this morning and promised he would never be sad again.. if you all could only hear how she talks to these babies, she’s like our little Dobie whisperer. lol
https://gofund.me/d1050a34
We pick him up on Saturday.. please help us get him treated!! 🐾🙏🏻
Hey friends, we are picking up Liam for his freedom ride but he is in terrible condition. He i… Jessica Herrington needs your support for Help us save Liam!!
Oh friends.. here we go again!! The number of emaciated or pregnant dogs this year has been catastrophic! We are exhausted but we are NOT GIVING UP!! So, with that being said…
Meet Patrick (soon to be LIAM) he is a 5 year old and he is scared, sick and emaciated! He needs some serious vet care and groceries! Poor Liam is so ready to get out of such a scary place!! Please help us gather funds for his medical care!

We have lots of announcements to make! We have several new dogs that are up for adoption! We will be updating this week!
We have a few puppies left!!
We have Lexi, a female red/rust 10mos old
We have Onyx, a 3 year old blk/tan female
This is just a start! It’s HOT and dogs are coming in at an alarming rate!! One of the puppies were so excited for the pool that she was reading the instructions on how to set it up.. lol😂
*** Dobermans are NOT OUTSIDE DOGS***
Also, adoption fees are not listed on our fb page nor will we put the fees up, it gets us hit with spammers. Please fill out the application and when we call you, we will go over everything!
Jessie
We have the best DRG families! Big shout out to Sam who went and fixed another adopters fence. The Arkansas tornado took out her fence and blew windows out of her house. Thankfully our Arkansas families are all accounted for! It is going to be a volatile summer! Our prayers to
all those affected by the tornadoes!
Now back to puppies!
Marcia
We are down to 8 babies left! 4girls/4boys!! They are 9 weeks old and fully vetted and ready for new homes. There will be no pick up from 5/31-6/10. So if you plan on putting in an application please do so before then so that I can process the applications before I leave town. Our sitter will not process applications or be available for pick -up. Also.. Poor babies have littermate scarring from scratching and clawing each other which makes them look like they have skin conditions, but they absolutely do do not. A little cocanut oil for a couple weeks after they get new homes and their coats will look great! They come pre-spoiled! Lol. Located in Tulsa
Thank you
Jessie
WE HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!!! …. READY NOW!!!
Well… here we go again!! This litter was a huge surprise!! They are doing good and growing like weeds and looking for their forever homes!! The rehoming fee includes up to $200 of your puppy training course reimbursed! They are UTD on shots/worming. Puppy training courses are mandatory however the only way that you will get it paid for is if you apply within 2 weeks of having your puppy. It doesn’t have to start by then, but you have to be registered and your class has to be paid for within 2 weeks of adoption. Puppy training course must be approved by DRG. We will not approve board and train or shock collar training techniques. We’re posting a couple of pictures but there are three males and seven females. YOU MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION!!!! Your application must be approved.. after that, we will contact you and any questions you may have at that time will be answered!! We have two blues and the rest are black and tan! They are 9 weeks old so if you plan on on cropping, you only have three weeks to do it. Located in Tulsa
