As many of you know, Abbi is our only receptionist for our Mt. Sterling clinic and after 3 great years with her, she will be stepping away from us.
We are sad to see her leave but we wish her the best of luck on her new journey!💕

With that being said we are looking for a full time receptionist to take her place.

What the job entails:
Answering the phone, scheduling appointments, checking patients in, taking payments, creating new charts for new patients and clients, filing charts, distributing paperwork, & checking clinic email daily.

Job requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent, phone etiquette, communication skills(with coworkers and clients), customer service, computer skills(mainly Microsoft word & excel), multitasking(this job will require juggling many important tasks at one time, we are a very fast paced setting), & prior receptionist work would be ideal but not needed(can be trained)

You can email resumes in to [email protected] or [email protected], or you may stop in and drop off your resume in person! Thank you!

In the meantime please be patient with our staff as we transition! We love and appreciate all of our clients and patients!💚

Happy Vet Tech Appreciation Week to all Vet Tech's!

Here are our favorite techs!

Kendryk-Our head technician! Kendryk has been with us for the past 4 years and does her job so smoothly and effortlessly, even in the midst of all the chaos that breaks out in our clinic quite often, you'll see her whipping around here, over all obstacles, with no trouble!

Lea-Our second technician! Lea has been with us for almost a whole year but makes it seem like she's been here for a lifetime with the way she juggles all of her tasks so easily. She is the one to help lighten situations, put a smile on your face, and make you laugh, even if you're only here for a short visit!

Izzy-Our last but certainly not our least technician! Izzy has been with us for just a little over a year, she is the one who helps with those delicate surgeries, hard and difficult appointments, and making sure Dr. Kackley stays in line and on task😅but she does it all with no sweat!

Thank you for all that you girls do, we could not get through the days without you!

Happy Vet Tech Week!

Dear valued clients:
We want to take a moment to inform you that Dr. Pollitt will be leaving our practice. His last day will be on December 31st. Dr. Pollitt didn't make this decision lightly, and would like to thank everyone for their trust in him and support over the years.
Dr. Pollitt has been an integral part of our team, providing exceptional care to our patients and their families since 2002. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication and expertise he has brought to our practice over the years. While we are saddened to see Dr. Pollitt go, we understand and support his decision and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.
As of right now we will not be taking on new clients. Any new clients can contact our sister clinic, Mt. Sterling Veterinary Clinic. The Rushville clinic plans to stay open after January 1st for medication dispensing, product, and to pick up patient records or to let us know where you would like them sent. We will make sure to keep everyone up to date with any new information we recieve on the plans for the clinic in the future. Thank you for understanding and your patience as we move forward.
Thank you Dr. Pollitt for the memories the past 23 years! We will miss you! 🐾
