Love getting pictures of our clients dog first hunts.
Things have been slow and spotty at best to start off this season but looks like Rooster owned Stacey Hunt got into a few in the timber, And Laci owned by Mike Fowler got her a big ole green head in the rice field!
Good job everyone! And congratulations on your pups first ducks!
Extreme Dog Fuel
Extreme Dog Fuel is a premium food designed to deliver the nutrition your dog needs for an active, healthy and long life. Each of our formulas use only select ingredients blended specifically to meet the needs of your dog. Our Elite Nutrition formulas are perfect for dogs that enjoy a leisurely walk...
This is SHR Hunt’s Red Rooster, he is another example of how Extreme Dog Fuel has improved our dogs here at the kennel. The big picture is today, the other is about a month and a half ago. Rooster came to us with all kinds of skin allergies and skin issues as you can see from a picture from 4 months ago. Within 2 months from transferring to Extreme Dog fuel his skin allergies and irritations are completely gone, his coat is soft, smooth and he’s Maintaining weight which has been extremely difficult with him.
I pay for this food just like everyone else, and if I hadn’t seen the big changes I wouldn’t be recommending it. I am sold! Extreme is just better!
Extreme Dog Fuel
This is HRCH Highland Rims Colonel Reb’s Joe. This is a side by side of 2 months on Extreme Dog fuel, the picture on the left is today, and the one on the right is right at a month ago when we started transitioning, muscle definition is off the chart, coat is shiny, soft and smooth, eyes are clean and bright, ears are clean, and teeth are cleaning up from all the tarter build up from a previous popular brand.
If your looking for something different I highly recommend Extreme Dog Fuel, best I have fed in 18 years.

Highland Rim’s Dog of the day is Mack!
Mack is back with us to finish up learning to run blinds and tuning up for duck season. Mack is a big ole boy, but very playful and sweet with a side of hard headness mixed in. He had a great first season last year and should be even better this season!
It won’t be long till Mack’s making piles of birds and back home with his favorite toy “Mr. Chicken”
Our dog of the day is “Rye” aka Candace’s boyfriend! Rye is getting ready for his first hunting season, he is marking well, delivering to hand and is currently learning pattern blinds. Rye is a very sweet boy, always wanting some pets and loving. He is obsessed with my wife! And just sits and stares at her anytime she’s around.
Our dog of the day is SHR Midnight Sadie 2nd Chance “Sadie” she is one of our late transition dogs here for training. Sadie just earned her SHR hunt test title and is getting ready for hunting season now, she is running good land blinds and her water blinds are improving daily.
Can’t wait to see the piles of birds she makes this season!
Has your dog been with a trainer? Are you hunting your dog for the first time? This is the best explanation and tips to introduce your pup to its first season! Everyone needs to listen to this podcast. I preach this every year to our clients. It is one of the most important things to introduce your pups the correct way to hunting, done wrong and you can ruin your pup’s career in one single hunt!

Our Dog of the day and rising star ⭐️
SHR Hunt’s Red Rooster “Rooster”
Rooster is a hard charging pup, he’s one of our transition dogs just finishing up pattern blinds and starting to run his first cold land blinds. He just passed his final test to receive his SHR title and has a bright future ahead. Can’t wait to see the piles of ducks he brings back this season!
Todays set-up was to challenge the older dogs and teach the wipe out mark concept to the younger pups, older, advanced dogs got mark #1 thrown as poison bird and ran blind 1, then mark 2 was thrown, picked up both marks and then ran blind #2.
Transition dogs ran blind #1 then ran marks. Then blind #2.
Dog of the the day was Mrs. Nelli!
She came out as a advanced transition dog and stepped on the marks, and crushed blind #2 with one handle and took a great angle cast quartering the hill side to finish the blind.
Little Key Relationship Drill for the dogs this morning, throw mark 1 as poison bird, leave it laying and run blind 1 behind gun. Pick up bird, then run blind 2, then run blind 3 under the arc of mark. Good cool cloudy morning to get some work in.
Dinner is served!
Best decision I’ve made for the health of our dogs here for training. After 3 years of inconsistencies with another big named brand it was time to do the research and find a better food to fuel our dogs. After talking with Mr. Keith Dodson he made the decision way easier. Extreme Dog Fuel is just better! Better ingredients, better mineral packet, and added probiotics and joint care.
4 weeks in and our dogs coats are softer, and energy is out the roof!
If your interested in switching your dogs to better quality food reach out to me, or contact Mr. Keith Dodson or call Extreme Dog Fuel direct!
