My corgi Scarlet has pancreatitis and did not eat for 3 days. She just sniffed the bowl and walked away. Her vet suggested Original Happy Dog Food and she absolutely loves it!! Scarlet has been eating it for about 1.5 yrs and has only had 1 bout with pancreatitis. This has been a great change for both of us.

Olive is our 150lb. English Mastiff. After her Chicken allergy was diagnosed, we could not find a kibble that she would eat. We ended up having to supplement her kibble with ground beef and rice. Even then she wasn’t happy about eating her food and would often not eat or beg for scraps.

I stumbled upon Happy Dog in a local grocery store and did some research. I was surprised that the company is in my own town, so we bought a bag. Not only do we feel like we have better control of Olive’s food, but she CANNOT get enough of it! She cleans her plate twice a day to the point she licks it clean and looks for anything she dropped in the process.

One thing I love is that you can use any protein you like. We often use duck instead of beef which Olive loves. We love this product and are happy to use it going forward.

I watch other family members spend a small fortune on prepared dog food. I love that I can choose what meat to add to your whole grain mix. In addition to meat, I add chopped fresh vegetables too. Tawny’s favorite days are dog-food-making days.

Happy dog food has been the best food for my animals. We have had three dogs and they have been the healthiest than most. They love the food. It’s easy to make. We’ve been very happy with it for the past 15 years. Since my dogs have been on this food, they’ve had no digestion problems. We are very pleased.

I had a 10 year old Malinois that had been losing weight. I shifted her food to good (read expensive) canned food as well as ground beef and her interest in eating increased by was not consistent. Now that I have put her in HD exclusively she eats her whole meal and has put that weight back on

My two year old standard poodle hasn't liked any of the foods I have tried. The only food he liked previous to purchasing Happy Dog Food, was food I made for him using a book to make dog food. It got to be to much to maintain after he was a year old. I like the convenience of the Happy Dog Foods ingredients and then adding the meat I cook and their supplements. He really likes his meals now. I alternate his meals with two different meals each day.

Our little guy, adopted 9 years ago from Muttville Senior Dog Rescue in San Francisco, ate only Happy Dog until the end. He LOVED it. I cooked it in batches and froze extra portions. I really believe that he lived such a long life (to 15? 16?) in large part because of Happy Dog. When we have the strength to adopt again (and we will!), our next dog will also be a Happy Dog. These devoted friends deserve the best!

I tried this as a supplement to a grain free fresh food we started feeding the dogs. It looks and smells good enough for us to eat. Very high quality ingredients and both dogs love it. They’ll even eat it plain without the meat and for these 2 that’s really saying something.

Great product. I highly recommend !

Dogs do plenty of cute things, but there are few behaviors more adorable than the head tilt. Most dog owners can tell you that the head tilt means a dog is intrigued and experiencing something out of the ordinary. But why do they do it? Some say that the head tilt has a lot to do with a dog’s ability to empathize. Dogs have evolved to be very good at understanding humans. They can read our body language, facial gestures, and speech patterns to empathize with us. They even recognize certain words and vocal tones and associate them with playtime, walks, or food. When they tilt their heads, it’s possible that they are trying to filter what we are saying to pick out those familiar parts of our language.
