Happy Thanksgiving from Runaway Ranch!

This season of gratitude has us reflecting on the incredible community we’re blessed to have here at the ranch. From the students who show up eager to learn, to the families cheering them on, to the horse owners who so generously share their beloved partners, and of course, the horses themselves — we are endlessly thankful.

Every ride, every lesson, and every milestone reminds us how lucky we are to be part of this journey with all of you. Today, we’re especially grateful for the connections we’ve built and the trust that makes this ranch feel like family.

Another great drill team practice in the books! Watching these riders come together with focus and teamwork is amazing to see. The dedication, practice, and attention to detail are really paying off as we get closer to showtime! Keep up the great work, everyone!

Productive day today reorganizing all those horse things we use throughout the year. Thank you so much to our helpers Patty, Stephanie and Tia. Krissy and I really needed it. It was quite the Job but looks way better and it’s organized so much nicer and we now have lights YAY !! ❤️🔥💪🏻

This photo is GOLD. As many of you know we have had a rough medical year among our herd.

Thankfully everything has turned out good but various random things put a few on stall rest for an extended period of time.

Lenny & Roxy were stalled for several weeks ( 2 separate reasons )

Its a beautiful sight seeing them out enjoying their turn out w the herd all fixed up 💕

One year ago, Ryan and I thought it would be fun to host a Christmas Drill Team, and it turned out to be such a hit that we’re back for our second year!

🎄 Over the weekend, we hosted our workshops to kick off the season, and we’re so proud of both teams.

It’s no easy task—managing horses, memorizing routines, and keeping time, rhythm, and spacing just right—but they did awesome! We can’t wait for the Christmas performance on December 14th.

🌟 **Rodeo Spotlight: Aubrey & Bunny!** 🌟

This year, Aubrey and her family welcomed Bunny into their lives, forming a special connection that’s already taken them far. It’s been a joy to see the partnership between Aubrey and Bunny grow as they embark on this journey together. We are so proud of their progress and dedication!

As an extra special moment, Aubrey’s son Will and Bunny also made their mark by winning the **Reserve Overall Buckle in the Teen Division**. What a core memory for this family trio—an unforgettable year for them all!

🌟 Stanley and Cruz 🌟

Congratulations to Stanley on winning the Adult Overall buckle at his first-ever horse show! Stanley just celebrated his one-year mark of riding with Runaway Ranch this past August. Initially unsure about participating in the rodeo this year, he took the plunge and proved he was more than ready!

Not bad for a first show! 🎉 You've come so far in your riding, and we couldn’t be more proud of you!
