Countdown to Howlaween, Day One, Into the Spiderverse:
Silk Shooter and Remi Rodeo: In the long-gone days of the old, wilder West, there was an innocent young boy, Robert Rancher. In a tale that's been repeated countless times throughout the multiverse, he lost his parents at an early age, and was raised by his white Aunt Maybelline and Native American Uncle Bend-of-the-branch. Other than that, he had the usual childhood, until the day he was bitten by a spider brought to life as an unintended result of a local Navajo shaman's ritual entreaties to Na'ashjé'Ãà Asdzáá or Spider Woman. Given superpowers by this unforeseen consequence, he at first used his powers to travel the range with a traveling carnival, entertaining with his acrobatics, until the day his uncle was killed by The Cattle Baron in a power move he could have stopped. Taking heed of his uncle's last words, "with great lawlessness comes great opportunity", he now rides the new frontier, masked and with his trusty net-shooting guns at his sides, creating justice whenever the opportunity arises. Listen for the howl of his loyal companion, rescued performing dog Remi Rodeo, and know that Silk Shooter, the Wild Web of the Wilder West, is on his way.
Meanwhile, more than a century later, his descendant, Iggy Pup, finds himself in similar circumstances. Different time, different name, different furbuddies but same moral. He is: The Arach n' Roller, with loyal companions WebLillie, Gracie Eightlegs, and Dr. Francanine's Monstrous creation, Pooh The Yorkshire Terriantula.
