Help keep your pets safe with tips from the ASPCA:

-Play soft music and create a quiet, window-free space
-Use anxiety vests or vet-approved meds (test first!)
-Keep your pets safe at home and don't bring them to the festivities with you
-Double-check that your pet's ID tags and microchip info are up to date—just in case they panic and slip away

My name is Amy, and I’m beyond excited to officially introduce myself as the new owner of Poochie Bath Grooming LLC! While the ownership may be new, many of you already know me—I’ve proudly been a part of the Poochie Bath family for the past 10 years, with over 20 years of experience working with animals. This journey has been a true labor of love, filled with wagging tails, wet noses, and countless cherished moments.

Taking the reins of this business is truly a dream come true. Poochie Bath has always held a special place in my heart, and I’m incredibly grateful to continue serving a community that shares the same deep love and care for animals that I do.

One thing that makes this transition even more meaningful is our logo, which was inspired by my own three beloved dogs: Apollo, Loki, and Alice Quinzel. They aren’t just my fur babies—they represent everything this business stands for: love, loyalty, and a playful spirit. 🐾💛

I also want to take a moment to recognize the amazing team of women who make Poochie Bath truly shine. These girls are not only hardworking and incredibly talented, but they bring heart, dedication, and joy to every grooming session. I’m so proud to work alongside such a special, supportive, and passionate group, and I know your pets are in the very best hands with them.

Under my ownership, Poochie Bath will remain a place where your pets are treated like family. If you see a small pile of jelly balls like this in your garden, set them on fire or destroy it by soaking it in isopropyl alcohol. Wear gloves if you handle the nest! There are hundreds of tick eggs inside it. Better to be safe than sorry.

10 Proven Natural Methods to Eliminate Aphids and Scale Insects from Your Garden

Aphids and scale insects feed on plant sap, weakening plants and leaving behind sticky honeydew. Here are 10 natural ways to get rid of them without chemicals:

1. Homemade Insecticidal Soap
Mix 2 tsp mild liquid soap with 1 liter of water. Spray on leaves and stems, especially undersides. Repeat consistently.

2. Neem Oil Solution
Mix 1 tbsp neem oil with a few drops of soap and 1 liter of water. Spray where pests are concentrated. Reapply regularly.

3. Introduce Beneficial Insects
Attract ladybugs, lacewings, and parasitic wasps by planting marigolds, dill, or yarrow near crops.

4. Horticultural Oil Spray
Mix 2 tbsp horticultural oil with 1 liter of water. Spray every 7–10 days to suffocate pests and prevent egg hatching.

5. Garlic and Onion Spray
Blend 1 onion and 2 garlic cloves with 1 liter of water. Strain and spray. Reapply every few days or after rain.

6. Diatomaceous Earth
Sprinkle food-grade diatomaceous earth around plant bases. It dehydrates pests on contact.

7. Companion Planting
Grow mint, basil, or nasturtium near crops. These deter pests and attract predators.

8. Pruning Infested Areas
Cut off heavily infested parts and dispose of them in sealed bags away from your garden.

9. Strong Water Spray
Use a garden hose to dislodge pests. Focus on undersides of leaves. Repeat every few days.

10. Use Sticky Traps
Place yellow sticky traps near plants to catch flying pests. Replace regularly.

Keep your furry friends safe:
✔️ Walk during early mornings or late evenings
