Hello Friends and Valued Clients of Poochie Bath,
We will be opening May 12th along with retail businesses. We have missed all our clients, human, canine and feline and are very anxious to get back to work! We are first scheduling appointments with clients who had one scheduled during the shutdown. Then we will schedule the balance of appointments. It is best to call and leave a voicemail if you want to be on the waiting list. I seldom log on to Facebook.

We are scheduling grooms and full service by appointment only. We do not require an appointment for nail trims. We have closed the self bathing until further notice.

We do require curbside drop off and pickup. Please be patient. it takes a little longer to check customers in and out with this process.

We value the health and safety of our clients. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through these difficult times.

We regret to inform you the State of OH has classified pet grooming as a nonessential business therefore we will be closed per the mandate until Tuesday, April 7th.
If you have an appointment scheduled during the mandated close, we will be working hard to call you in as soon as possible after we reopen.

Friends and valued clients of Poochie Bath:

We are currently open for business until mandated otherwise but have implemented a number of changes. We value your safety and the safety of Poochie Bath associates. We have closed the salon for our human clients. This means we have closed the self serve bathing at this time. We will continue to bathe and groom dogs but have implemented changes on drop-offs and pickups. Please pull up front and an associate will come out and get your pet and check you in curbside. When your pet is done, we will call you for pick up as usual. Please pull up front for pickup and we will bring your pet out to you and collect payment. If you have any concerns, please call us.

Minimum three years experience grooming dogs
Experience with cats a plus
Calm, patient and genuine care for the animals
Outstanding customer service and ability to communicate with customers is essential

Free Microchipping this Saturday June 21st at Poochie Bath! The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is giving away free Microchipping for a donation from their wish list or proof of financial need. See more on their website www.hsdayton.org. The event takes place 1-4PM with only 120 chips available on a first come, first serve basis. Hope to see you there!

Employment Opportunity - Bather/Grooming Assistant

At Poochie Bath, we are passionate about pets! We are a busy professional full-service pet salon and self serve dog wash.
Full time and part time entry level positions available.
You will perform basic grooming services on dogs that do not require a haircut as a part of their grooming service. This includes brushing, bathing, cleaning ears, brushing teeth and trimming nails. You will also assist the Groomers as needed, which includes bathing and blow drying of dogs.
Qualifications
• Calm, patient and genuine care for the animals
• Outstanding customer service and ability to communicate with customers is essential
• Team player with a great attitude
• Energetic, motivated, flexible and with a strong work ethic
• Experience working with dogs other than your own pets a must. Volunteer works counts!
