Come to Carteret Community College for GOOD DOG UNIVERSITY PUPPY CLASS taught by BEV WARNER. Yes, even the puppies can graduate college!!
This 5 week class starts Thursday Oct. 26, at 5:00pm. $100.00 makes checks payable to CCC.

Today I was on my way to Family Dollar up the street from my house. I saw this FedEx driver, Rondy, do a U turn at the second entrance to a trailer park that used to be Farmview. I looked in my rear view mirror to see him pulled over to help this 75 year old man get his little cart/wagon and groceries out of the ditch. The man had fell into the ditch from the heat. I did not see the man in the ditch, but Rondy did. I turned around to go help the Fedex driver. The older gentleman, 75 years old, had walked to the Food bank up the street. The older gentleman was so exhausted from the heat he could barely stand. I asked them both if I could take a picture of them. They both gave consent. Rondy shows so much compassion, it made me proud. Another gentleman stopped to help. We told Rondy we knew he was busy we would get him to his home. Rondy was thankful. He said they are timed for their deliveries but he still stopped to help this older man. Please help share as much as we can. Hopefully somehow we can get this act of kindness to his supervisor.

Kenyan runner Abel Mutai was a few meters from the finish line, but got confused by the signals and stopped, thinking he had finished the race.

The Spanish runner, Ivan Fernandez, was right behind him and, realizing what was happening in front of him, began shouting for the Kenyan to keep running.

Motai did not know Spanish and did not understand.

Fernandez pushed Mutai to victory.
One reporter asked Evan, "Why did you do this?" Evan replied, "My dream is that one day we can have the kind of community life that pushes ourselves and others to win as well."
"But why did you let the Kenyan win?" the reporter insisted. Evan replied, "I didn't let him win, he would win. It was his race."

The reporter insisted and asked again: "But you could have won!"

Evan looked at him and replied, "But what is the merit of my victory? What is the honor of this medal? What will my mother think?"

I dare you to try to get all puppies in the picture at the same time!! 😆🐕😂🐕🤣

Notice how calm everyone is. We didn’t allow them to just rush up to each other and scare some while others might be getting away with being a bully. They are learning to how to read the other puppy’s intent! This is so important for just taking your dog for a walk in their adult life. If they know how to read what the other dog is saying, there is no need to be reactive, making a walk with your dog more enjoyable!! This has to be done under 16-18 weeks of age to be most effective. It is the “formative” weeks in puppies, like the “formative” years in children.

This is Good Dog Unlimited’s puppy class for pups under 17 weeks of age. This is the most crucial time of their lives where they need to safely learn about life. Around 17 weeks is when their formative weeks close and what ever they lack is very difficult to fill in. If you have a dog that is fearful, they most likely missed out on the introduction to life and the world. Fearful dogs are so sad! They live like chicken little with owner’s that are heartbroken and don’t know what to do. Please don’t leave your puppy without skills to live life. Safely introduce them to life. Good Dog Unlimited would love to help you!! 🐕😍❣️🐕
