Veggie bowl!!
I went to the RO Farmers Market this morning and bought some fresh organic veggies.
Cauliflower, Broccoli, Squash, Carrots, blueberries.
They each have a duck egg in their bowls as well. Duck eggs provide Vitamins D, E, B12, B5, 125mg of Omega 3!!!

So very very true!! It makes me sad that people can be so heartless and turn around and betray the pet as well as the owner. The senior pet knows thar family. Really what is a few years sometimes months of just keeping and loving the pet?

9/13/2023 All sicknesses occur due to poor immune systems, parasites, and having a leaky gut does not help either. Boost their immune system, clean out the parasites ( do the same for yourself as well) feed a proper diet. By doing this you can keep them away from the vet and by doing so avoid pharmaceuticals as well. Think about it what is in the pharmaceuticals? Chemicals! Loom up the chemicals and then decide again, "Is this really the best decision?"
God states throughout scriptures that He provides us all we need! Why do we not trust God our creator?

So very true!! Yet humans let them down on a daily basis. I understand times are difficult with this economy and the innocent are always the first to suffer. Shelters are full, rescues are full, I am on a hold now until at least the first of the year which breaks my heart, but adoptions are so slow as well. Then you have people who do what they did to sweet Gracie. Just so heartbreaking and they are so loyal. I will never understand why. Never💔💔💔

This is Buddy who came with Gracie I was told he is blind and partially deaf. I asked when he went blind and was told about 6 months ago. I checked his glucose because I knew he was diabetic and his reading was 364 so yes he is!
Buddy breaks my heart because he is reminding me so much of Mocha and Bear.
When begging the owners to try to keep Buddy and Gracie their other alternative was to put them down in which I informed them they will most likely stay with me until the end since blind diabetic dogs are difficult to adopt. Apparently it's better that I take the heartbreak because the husband informed me that his wife, who is a nurse, said she couldn't be in the room with them.

9/4/2023 Last two intakes of the year and I tried extremely hard to keep them in the home. This is Gracie she is 13 yrs old, now I was told that she has a wound or possibly cancer that she licks at, former owners wife is a nurse as well. When I opened the area that was wrapped I could not believe what I saw! My heart just broke into pieces. I have rubbed DMSO on Gracie and will be doing so throughout the day. Tomorrow morning she will get a MMS1 bath. Gracie and Buddy will be seeing Dr Nicole. I had an appointment for Stitch and Onnie but these two (Buddy will be posted too) will be going to the appointment.
I begged and pleaded with the owners to keep their dogs,they said their lives are too busy!!! They travel for work in which I informed them many people take their pets and offered many ideas and options.
I am in complete shock with Gracie and my heart us shattered!!

ALWAYS!! It's been a rough couple of months, at times I get discouraged, at times I just want to quit, feeling exhausted, feeling overwhelmed. Not many willing to learn natural methods and clean feeding. The backlash from the indoctrinated. As I am always there for them, Jesus is ALWAYS here for me. This rescue is not just about the animals , it has always been first and foremost a ministry to spread the love of Christ. I see HIS world turned upside into a hot mess and it deeply breaks my heart how many are lost.
Lose the ego, attitude, selfishness and so on and serve the Lord. The more we start to return to HIM and live life according to HIS love letter to us, the sooner all this craziness ends if we humble ourselves to the Lord.

8/30/2023 Sweet Coffee still needs a hero! His foster is moving to Illinois and we need to get Coffee into a new foster home or adopted. Coffee must be the only dog. Coffee is a good boy and he loves being around his humans. He is current on everything. Coffee was pulled last December from Genesee County because he was shutting down. We can not let Coffee down or go backwards now that he knows what it feels like to have a loving home. My friend who is a trainer has met Coffee and she noticed marks on him and felt he was used as a bait dog. She could not believe how affectionate and friendly he was toward her.

8/28/2023 What's better than 1 adoption? 2 adoptions to the same home! Lulu Bell and Bobo are off to their forever home. Mom fell in love with Lulu and upon talking on the phone she said her current dog misses a playmate and that is Bobo. Oh and his ears helped with getting adopted. Happy sweet life Lulu Bell and Bobo. You will always have a pice of my heart

8/21/2023 Urgent foster or adopter needed. Coffee was pulled last December from the shelter he was shutting down. Coffee is a one on one type of dog as our trainer who works with us saw markings that he was used for a bait dog. He is wonderful in his foster families home and loves everyone he meets. Unfortunately, the foster family will be moving and are needing the rescue find another foster or adopter. Coffee has to be a single dog only, no cats either. He is about 2 yrs old. 8/16/2023 Yesterday our Tiny Tim had been betrayed for a SECOND time from his former Judas owner.
Back in May Tiny Tim was surrendered to us by his adopter stating he started a new business and was traveling a lot and could not keep Tiny Tim. Timmy was here for 2 weeks when a scuffle happened in the yard and I picked up Timmy to hand to a neighbor. When the scuffle was over I saw he put Timmy on the ground and as soon as I said, "Pick him up" Timmy took off.
Well Timmy had the rescue tag on along with his former Judas owner tag on. I contacted him and let him know what had happened and he even came to look for him. Timmy was out for the night. In the morning he was spotted but ran again. His former Judas was making flyers when he had gotten call from someone stating they had Timmy, so he went and picked up Timmy, and said he felt this was a sign he was ment to keep him which I agreed to since he helped look for Timmy.
Fast forward not even 3 months later I wake up to the same text, I'm too busy for Timmy with my travels I wanted to reach out to you first before taking him to ANOTHER rescue OR SHELTER!! It's in the contract they MUST BE returned to the rescue.
So I picked up Timmy yesterday who was crying when I took him, I kept saying to Timmy, "I am so sorry,I am so sorry" did not even look at his former Judas. Who was gone before I could start my car. First thing I noticed is he took his tag off Timmy and left the rescue tag on which you can see in his betrayal car ride picture.
I contact a former adopter of mine who had lost his beloved Edison earlier this year, he passed away, Ray ( our hero) was heartbroken over Edison and when I told him the story in tears about Timmy's betrayal and how many bounces he had in his young life. He sent me a text saying, "I will see you in the morning I am coming to get him." I had tears of joy!!
Ray came this morning and Timmy just melted into his arms. I checked on them and Timmy is decompressing and Dad just 1000% loves and adores Timmy, or TT his nick name.
Ray the gratitude I have for what you did for Tiny Tim I can never express how grateful I am.
Ray will be following up with his vet care with Dr. Nicole at Natural Healing Pet Care .

8/16/2023 Lil Guy a rescue return 😭. Lil Guy was adopted out 4.5 yrs ago to a very nice couple. However, his Mom who was supposed to name him, but unfortunately her memory never allowed her to do so, so Dad just referred to him as Lil Guy and it stuck. Mom has since passed away. Dad contacted us last week letting us know he was moving to Florida but was unable to take Lil Guy due to housing situations. We quite did not understand but Dad begged us to take him back and of course we always will, it's in our contract.
When we picked up Lil Guy on Sunday Dad informed us of getting remarried and we are happy for him but made our eyebrows raise housing problems or new .... Either way it doesn't matter as we wouldn't want Lil Guy in a Florida shelter. This boy came to us all the way from Texas.

Lil Guy has been adapting well in the rescue. He is enjoying the other dog's to play with he initiates play. He enjoys going on walks and chilling in the yard. He LOVES his new raw diet with steamed veggies. He is all ready to go to his forever home. Lil Guy is estimated to be around 5 yrs old. He has had yearly vaccines and we are looking for adopters that will do titer testing so you can have the healthiest Lil Guy for as long as possible. We are looking for like minded adopters. 8/12/2023 Denny DOOOOOOO LITTLE still needs a forever home. This special needs boy came to us last October. His hind legs are deformed but that doesn't stop this Lil dude from cruising around.
He does have a bit of a spit fire to him I am thinking it's due to his deformity and you really need to earn his trust. He is on Passion Flower as well as Valarian Root to help balance his temperament. Others would have this boy on Prozac or some other toxic chemical that only does more harm than good and only puts a bandaid on the issue verse getting to the root of the cause. That's what we do here at Mama Dog Rescue we get to the root so these babies can heal not only in their body, but their mind and spirit as well.
Denny loves his raw home cooked diet, you should see him scamper to his spot! He also enjoys a stroller ride and I have carried him as well in a sling. He likes to sleep close to you.
He is good with other dog's but can get temperamental Denny is not a fan of sharing but he is learning.

Dr. Nicole reached out to some of her friends so our pups can have some more exposure. Mama Dog Rescue will be attending the Shred Event on Aug 19th there will be 4 of our dogs there at least, hopefully more.

8/10/2023 Heather and Rocco are still in need of their forever home as well. These two kids are adjusting well in their foster home. They are quite fond to say the least of foster Mom.
Heather keeps a keen steaming eagle eye on foster Mom , and when she leaves for a short period Heather (the white dog Blue Healer Mix) is front and center at the door wanting to know why she left and it took FOREVER (30 min) for her to come back!!! Lol Heather is a super sweet girl that loves her walks and her buddy Rocco.
Rocco he is shy at first and it takes time for him to warm up to you. He watches Heather and what she does. Rocco loves to walk with his buddy Heather.
Foster Mom gives Heather and Rocco some umm, ummm, GOOD food!! They love the meals she prepares for them!! She treats them holistically and has them in great health for their ages 10 and 13 but don't let their age hold you back, since their bodies have been detoxed and they are feeding proper nutrition foster Mom helped add years to them.

Who is the perfect forever for this duo for their remaining year's??
