required and equipped each kitten with a permanent microchip. We also test all our breeders for a common genetic disease that plagues the Persian breed, polycystic kidney disease, to ensure no kitten develops kidney disease later in life. This is such a sweet and tender lil prince. His eyes are still so blue which indicates they'll be a very deep green as an adult. His body is chunky and his coat is thick. He has perfect jet black nose, lip and eye liner. Best part of all is that he received his health certificate and is now available to go.

We have a kitten right now that has a very rare trait. π
A few days ago we realized that Dienos eyes are two shades of blue. This happened to one of our queens, Spice. As she grew one eye retained more blue than the other - one turned turqiouse and the other green. It's a fascinating and gorgeous trait.
We're just tickled! π₯°

I received an update on Loki recently and wow! The changes are incredible. Here is Loki at 3 months and then again at a year. Notice that his coat exploded and his undercoat, the tan color, became the dominant color. His black shading diffused and simply became an accent. The changes my kittens undergo are often incredible. Even the least fluffy looking ones becomes massive fluffs!
His momma says:
"Loki is the biggest puff ball!!! I can't even capture it in pix! The pix dont do him any justice. He is fearless, present, snuggly, loving and playful."

This purrttyy princess is a gorgeous golden tabby with an extreme face. Ebony loves to watch TV, is super chatty and very curious. This tabby tiger loves a gentle pet and purrs for a good squeeze! She constantly sleeps on her back in the open. Ebony would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for an engaging, yet laid back and sweet kitty.

Today was a long photo day! Our groomer - my mother - showered 10 kittens and we photographed 7 of them - we slow! Lol! The prep work before photos is always the most intensive, yet the most important. Our goal is to make sure our babies look their fluffiest, cleanest, and most beautiful. This way they'll put the biggest smile on your face. Here is a photo of Chikorita.
Against all odds, I took photos of this baby ungroomed. I'm so bad! Lol. But her mom really wanted to see her so I obliged.

So many wonderful updates! π
Here's a short update on Zeke and Pheonix (milknames Duku & Neem). Mom says:
Hey Roxy,
The boys are doing really well! We gave them their first full bath on Sunday and that was fun ! Lol Zeke tolerated it pretty well. But Phoenix was not having it. Lol
Zeke is a little bit of a spaz. He definitely is a little s**t stirrer. He gets Phoenix all riled up and they get the zoomies running around the house. Phoenix seems to be more chill. Likes to lay around. Take naps and relax. Zeke is all about wanting to play. But he is so sweet and he will let me do anything to him he is so well-behaved when I do his daily grooming , brush him clean his eyes and ears, etc. . I will wrap him up in my bathrobe and he just stays there!
We absolutely love them. They are soo sweet! π€π§‘

Honestly,
I've been pretty overwhelmed lately. I've had more cancelations this year than I've had any other year. The inquiries have been extremely slow and I have more kittens unspoken for this year than in my past 8 years of breeding. And ya'll know we don't cut corners in terms of feeding our cats a species appropriate human grade diet, veterinary care, and we give them plenty of space to roam and we treat them like family. They are great cats! But at this point we're barely making ends meet.
Yes, my prices are higher than most people expect or care to pay. And that's ok. My cats aren't meant for everyone. But still, this year has been hard to swallow. The inflation has scared most families into holding back from spending on luxury items, like a cat. I get that so I try to not take things personal.
What I do take personal is when I spend hours and days educating the same person and sending them content as requested, meanwhile being assured they want the cat and right after they send a deposit they back out and want a refund. Seriously, I'm way too frigging nice sometimes. I definately don't want to be a push over so that ends now. I don't have time to waste. I have too many cats to care for and then hope there's a mere second left for my family, myself or my sanity.
If you inquire about a cat I don't mind sending you updated pictures and a video. But that's it. Don't expect me to hold the cat for you. Don't expect me to constantly check in on you, if you want the cat or not. I don't have time nor the will to be pushy. Know my cats are worth every penny I ask for them. Value my time and effort and I will value yours. That's it. Rant over. Have a nice day.
