It's been 6 weeks since Hurricane Helene barreled through our area leaving a path of massive destruction. We were so fortunate to have suffered minimal damage and thankful that all critters are safe and unscathed.
Work on the barn is nearing completion and we will take a breather before starting phase 2 which includes construction of the covered arena and setting up the cross country schooling field.
The doors have been installed on both ends of each wing and they look amazing. The feed room is working out well and having a sink and mini-fridge is a great bonus. The tack room is already full because we have too dang many horses! Thanks to Aldi we have a cool way to hang bits. The hose "houses" keep things tidy and the center court entrance is looking pretty nifty.
