Sending out a warm congratulations to Christie's February Graduating Class of Complete Obedience In-Board Pups. This gentle giant is Pearl, and she really is a gem. Great Dane's were originally bred for some estate guardian worm, and many still have some defensive feelings. Pearl in an incredibly sweet girl, who was just starting to experience some of those cautious feelings, which made this the ideal time for training. She did SO well. When these pups learn that they can look to their confident family for guidance on how to interpret something, their confidence soars - and PEarl hit the lotto with her parents. They know the breed, what they need, and how much love they have! Super grateful to have been a part of the maturation process and training.

Meatball is a bundle of energy and a strong desire to share all the excitement with you. Momentum was a self rewarding behavior for him, and he put serious thought into how fast he could accomplish something he probably shouldn't vs how fast you can prevent it. Over the 4 weeks, I was most impressed with how he changed from very outwardly focused to looking to us for what earned him fun and freedom, vs looking for how to just go get it. I love his smart brain so so much!!

She had an amazing start by her folsk, just really needed some help understanding duration, and that distractions are really excuses to do our own thing. But who could resist that face. A gradual approach to distance, duration and distraction allowed her to learn that the best rewards come to those who are patient. She is going to have an AMAZING time doing all the dog-friendly things in Franklin and surrounding, and her family will now also have an amazing time too.

Tiger is loved by some amazing Cookeville folks, who are changing dog's lives by fostering for AARF. They also run Home Away from Home, offering in-home pet care that allows your dog to enjoy a visit with knowledgable friends in a home environment while you travel! Tiger was a blast to train - incredibly eager. His biggest challenges were focusing on us when other pups were around, and keeping all 4 feet on the ground. He is so smart, and genuinely loved each interaction!! Love this boy!

He family has another Dutch, Brembo, who completed the program several years ago and boards with us whenever his parents vacation! Arie is a cautious girl by nature, who blossumed during the program. Learning some skill sets allowed her to feel protected out in public and she just nailed Out 'n About Week.
