Christmas is officially down at both my house and the pet store I manage, and the countdown to 2025 is 3 days away!

Minus little Beaux (first photo), my favorite furry walkers are the final faces I will see before we move into the New Year! After a short vacation next weekend, pet sitting and dog walking services will begin again on January 6th!

For clients looking to book services in the new year, please note January is completely booked up for overnights, and the last week of February, (02/24-03/01), I will be away for my overdue honeymoon!

For now though, I’m excited to ring in Auld Lang Syne by seeing all the buddies tomorrow and Tuesday and hope everyone is having an amazing final weekend of 2024!

Wishing a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Hanukkah to friends, family, clients, staff at Dunedin Pet Supply, and all the amazing pets this morning! 🎅🏻 🕎 🎄

It’s been the most insane month, like December is for us all, but I have also had a blast hanging out with all my walkers, Pepper & Scout, Cecila Rose, Smokey & Charlie, and Chase & Baby Milo!

My December overnighters included 7 new faces, 2 OG clients, and a handful of new meet and greets for 2025! It also included one last minute hangout/sleepover with Mr. Henry, whom I am waking up with this morning before starting the Christmas festivities!

Finally, it’s so crazy to think it’s already been a year, but Happy Gotcha Day to our little Eleanor & Oliver! The best Christmas present Matt had ever received!

As we always do, we had so much fun hanging out this weekend with little miss Tulip and all her extra-ness! Celebrating my last pet sit of 2024 with this little gal, speaks numbers for how many years now I’ve been her pet sitter! Wishing her and her parents a happy holiday season and an early happy new year!

Also, an extra special Christmas treat for me, a full 7 days of Pepper and Scout time! With an extra added walk today, they were super happy to see me when I arrived! Let’s hope they’re just as excited when I pull up tomorrow at 7am for their Christmas surprise grooming appointment 😆!

December has definitely won the award for most stressed out month a pet sitter/store manager of a pet store could have! When I’m not walking the streets of North Pinellas with my dog walkers, I’m posting and sharing the 12 days of Christmas sales at the pet store, and when I’m not fronting the shelves for the 100th time because my OCD is going bizurk, I’m booking out January-March with my pet sitting schedule and adding 3 new families for dog walking in 2025!

Aside from all the dog walkers, little Tulip (French bulldog), is finishing her last day of pet sitting this morning, and heading with me to work at for a scrub a dub before her parents get home! Congratulations Tulip for being the final 2024 pet sit! 🥳

Pepper, Chase, Milo, Cecila Rose, Charlie, Smokey, and Scout, I am looking forward to more walks around the block beginning next week!

Finally, I’m overdue sharing more posts on here, but the 11 clients who joined for photos with Santa Klaus, I sent those personally to your emails, as Santa Josh didn’t want to show too much off on social media lol!

4 days till Christmas and hoping to get the rest of my shopping done today in between helping the husband pick up pavers for the backyard, dog walking, a half day at the pet store, and more! Holidays or none, I definitely pack my days with the most activities!

Another extraordinary day with the best dog walkers around, the walkers!!!!

Mother Nature sure wants us to have a crispy hot week leading up to Christmas Day, and here is hoping it cools down even a tad to get ready for the jolly guy in red!

Mondays are officially about brothers and siblings with these two families. Brothers, Milo and Chase, and Pepper and Scout, enjoyed Monday walks to kick off the week before Christmas!

For Chase and Milo, our walking adventures took us all over the neighborhood where baby Milo hid under his big brother every time an inflatable Christmas decoration danced in the wind, and brother Chase trying to giddy up across the street every time we saw another dog!

For brothers Pepper and Scout, we had double walks around the main perimeter of their neighborhood, also getting nervous around the 3 inflatable Santa’s we passed, Mr. Scout leaving his mark on every other neighbors mailbox, and Mr. Pepper greeting the mailman at the end of his block for a doggie cookie!

All in all, I have so much fun with these doodle boys and can’t wait to hit the open road again with 2 of them today, and all 4 again tomorrow!

Baby Milo is the typical little brother and no exception here with his older brother Chase! He has to be the center of attention at all times, by being in every single photo, walking literally the same path as his big brother does, and making sure his presence is known with every car, neighbor, and tree that we pass on our walks! 😆! These two are the happiest siblings around, even when Milo jumps up and tries to lick Chase on his face when Chase is having his private moments 💩 💩 💩!

If you’re looking for something fun to do with your pet this weekend, be sure to come check out 12 Paws of Christmas Event! We will be having huge buy one get 1 free promos across the store in food, treats, toys, etc for dog, cat, fish, small animal, reptile, and bird, and joined for the day by a handful of vendors, pet adoptions, and of course photos with Santa Klaus!

I didn’t know I’d be adding an extra service this holiday season, but if any clients would like free Santa photos with their pet and myself, I’ll be dressed in red with my fuzzy beard from 12-2/3pm! 🎅🏻 Just come find me in the back of the store and go home with a complimentary swag bag!

Looking forward to collecting donations for and kids toys for the kids of Pinellas County!

Princess Cecila Rose!!!

Queen of the rotating schedule, Monday to Friday! We may only see this teeny tiny girl twice a week, but the fun never stops around her gargantuan neighborhood!

Cece loves hanging out in all the patches of grass, flower beds, and anywhere she can catch a little bit of shade while on our walking adventures! She’s definitely full of s***k and energy and glad to hear her mom mention the dog walks have helped get her down 1 pound! You go Cece!!!

Tuesdays and Fridays are all about Smokey and Charlie! It may have been under 40 degrees for our walk yesterday morning, but it was another and always tail wagging all the way around the perimeter of their local neighborhood! We always have the best adventures out walking together and for Smokey (husky), we have time to stop and smell the mailbox at each of the 60 houses we pass along the way! 😂

Can’t wait to see the buddies again before the week is up, and beginning to think I too need to invest in a Christmas sweater like Charlie pulls off as a great ensemble.

It’s taken a few days to get use to the cold front that came in to town over the holiday weekend, and just as long to remember to share my chilly adventures!

Nothing pairs well with the month of December though than double walks with my favorite OG clients, Pepper and Scout! I’m so excited to be getting to spend extra time with these doodle doos and enjoy these brisk 🥶 days going just a little bit further off our typical walking grids! Looking forward to all the new places we will be exploring and loving this perfect dog walking weather!

It’s the final night of Coopers sleepover and the final night of November! Ready for the final month of 2024 to come to an end, but not without getting through the busiest time of the year! 7 pet sits, 5 charity work events, and 8 Christmas parties! A camping trip, a month full of walkers and drop in visits, and me dressing up as Santa Claus! Hope everyone has had a happy holiday weekend and is enjoying the final night of the month! Happy Holidays and Christmas season begins tomorrow!
